Hi Abbie, thanks for the inspiration. I walked this route today. Right on my door step and one I had never done. My only difference was while getting into Upwey I took the path rather than the road and ended up going through a couple of gardens that are part of the Pilgrem's Way. It comes out opposite the cafe you show. Great route.

So grateful you do these videos. We're pretty strictly following quarantine, so we walk on our treadmill now, watching videos like yours so we can feel more like the normal walks we always did pre COVID19 life. Our local trails have been too busy to feel safe for quarantine

Think you will find that the Mill in The Trumpet Major is the one in Sutton Poyntz. Where the rest of the book is set. You only need to read the first 15 pages or so to realise that Sutton Poyntz is where the story is set.

This was a lot of fun! Also, it was great to see Dorset for the first time, having read about it a lot but never been there. It may not be dramatic, but it's definitely different from anything near where I live. It's cool to get so many views in all directions, all through the hike. I also like the views of the towns, the churches, and the barrows (especially cool and unique). Keep up the great work!

My good lady is disabled and I walk the dog daily. We have regular walk which I can last for around two hours. I'm thinking of filming it so she can see what we get up to. Any advice like cameras, holders, is it easier with a mate... as here? I've done our first walk today but still make time for your contribution like this film. Ta!
