Back in 1992, I was 5 years old and heard this work for the first time on one of Dad's records. And until 2006 (I was 19), I had no way of playing this and other songs from a great era whenever I felt like it. Vangelis has hereby composed more than one song. He created a legacy that I and many other generations will remember. Thank you, Vangelis, thank you for making this track available to the public. One created a masterpiece, the other made it immortal. Enjoy your life with masterful music. It won't always be like this.

This music is a MasterPiece. Vangelis took some gregorian chants, with a minor eolian melodie... And turned them into a major, maybe jonian progresion, exploding in fanfarre, with french horns in The style of Mahler and Wagner, and some war drums. Y think this symbolizes a transition, between dark Middle Ages, and the forecomimg of humanism, wich i think is also the most important symbol in the movie... also a MasterPiece by Ridley Scott and all his cast of actors and cinematographers. Hope to see that in a cinema one day. You'll be remembered maestro Vangelis. Thanks for this beautyfull piece of art.

So beautiful. My gg grandfather James Jonson and his brother, Charles, came to Africa from Sweden, jumped ship during a mutiny, and swam in shark infested waters to the shores of Grahamstown, Eastern Cape. They were sooooo brave. And the Honourable William Cock who contributed greatly to the history of the Eastern Cape, the Kowie River and naming of Port Alfred, sailed back to Cornwall, UK, and brought his sister Elizabeth and her husband Richard Nicholas and children back to Grahamstown with him to settle with the 1820 settlers. VANGELIS: You’re Welcome
@franklinolivosalcedo721710 ай бұрын
Me ocurre igual.
