I'm a Muslim. i definitely support the theory of banning religious-based school. when people meet one and another they will get to understand. the fear of the unknown will be gone.

Totally agree. But the proper education of human value should be given to the teachers first.

A great comment. The negative impact of religious based schools is not clearly visible, which is very regressive and bad for a advanced society. Think about a kid from a multicultural society grow up with people with similar religious ideas. Can you believe them to cooperate 'well' with other people once they become adults ? Would they forget about their school time and act collaboratively, suddenly. These schools might have been started for some good historical reason ,however, certain religious groups still don't like to open them up. It looks like Dino and Gehan voice for a Sri Lankan identity, so they can simply request from their schools to open them up them for all Sri Lankans, at least towards a significant percentage. That will be a good initiative and others will also follow that. Also it's not an offensive proposal, but it would bring more talent to the schools as well as the country will also benefit from it in the future. Also I want to share this small clip what a Muslim student mentioned about his beautiful school time at a Buddhist school. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hZe9aIKwnbSsd68

@@LogeshwaranM I'm Tamil. I don't speak a word of tamil either only English and sinhala. Because my father is tamil and my mother is sinhala. At home We only spoke in English. I picked up sinhala along the way unfortunatly I wasn't able to learn tamil. Now I'm learning a bit because my husband speaks English sinhala and tamil. It depends on how we were brought up. Not speaking tamil donesnt make my English or sinhala I'm still tamil. ;)

Inspirational, genuine people like them should be introduced more and more Lahiru. This is a great interview. People now a days live fake lives trying to compete with others, living to show off to society. . Luxury life is the loan free life. Best wishes to you Dino. Thank you guys.
Was waiting for Dino’s interview.. Lahiru has come so far...his way of shooting a question and allowing the guest to speak and the way he paddles the program is interesting.
