They do look good don't they :-) Indeed, the pickups look P90-like but sound completely different to that. I adjusted the intonation and loosened the truss-rod slightly to get it playing the way I like it. I plan to do an opinion update video in the next couple of weeks after using it at a gig and recording a song/video with it.

I think it's more a jazzmaster style. I have 3 HBs. No complaints for the price.

Been wanting a P90 guitar. I think this is my best choice. This exact color too. Fits the color of the pick-ups too.

I'm loving the guitar but beware, it doesn't have true P90's, they sound very different, P90's have more mid/low bite than the Jazzmaster pickups which look similar but have a different internal construciton resulting in more top shine - check this guy's video out for a comparison: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qJvQp2qAhciVj7c

I think Gibsons are shorter, this is 648mm, the same as a Telecaster. Follow up video is on the way after using it at a couple of gigs. Watch this space…

I don't think so. Mine is 2960g, compared to my Mex Tele at 3750g for example.

How much did you pay after tax and shipping? For me this model is $240 after tax and shipping bc shipping is $80 to the United States and that’s crazy to me lol

I'm in Europe so the whole tax/shipping thing is different. But the price here now inc. tax and shipping is €169 = $178. But Thomann has opened a US based shop now and has it for sale (pre tax/shipping) for $149 (thmn.to/thoprod/398225?partner_id=15901) - but out of stock :-( I've also heard of people buying more than one instrument which may not increase the shipping much, making it relatively cheaper.

If I want a real Les Paul or Sg I'll buy Epiphone or Gibson..same with a Jazz master I'll buy Fender

I agree. This is similar in shape, but has it’s own sound. And if you really want a Jazzmaster you are probably better off with a Squier/Fender. But it’s still a fun guitar.
