Very good Jonathan. Normally one would remove the packing foam between the body and bridge as this would suppress vibration, yet despite this, it still sounded very good. Great clip and thanks for posting.

This looks a good starter mandolin and you can cheaply improve the sound better by fitting a cast alloy bridge for about 10 pounds sold by Amazon and a bone nut helps the sound as well if you are handy and for another 12 pounds you can replace the bridge for a quality ebony one. Great demo Jon.🤩👍

I checked the price on this mandolin, and the fit and finish is fricken ridiculously great at that price point. Even with the travel foam under the bridge it sounded OK.

I'm seriously considering getting this baby myself! I have a mandolin now but this has a 3.3 mil. Nut Width which means the finger board it wider and easier to play while mine I've had for years is an Epiphone and less than 3 mil. Also this is beautiful and the price incredible..

I have just bought this guy. Optically nice piece, the mensure (distance from bridge to nut) is by one fret longer comparing my old mandolin - which is good. But the sound is hollow - especially the G and D strings - comparing to my old 40$ mandolin with body twice higher (deeper). This sound is quite a disapointment, I wonder if the sound of more expensive F-mandolins is also bassless
