This model Fusion 3 with same specs is $349 at Harley Benton PLUS shipping. So the Reverb at $489 with free shipping is $140 built into the price to ship it. My HB purchases of which are about a dozen were at best $80 for shipping. So, it is less expensive to buy direct from Harley Benton. Revert not only has to pay the shipping to get it to their location, they also have to cover the cost of shipping within the US to their customers. Ouch. The guitar, and specs seems first class, and many rave about them. Love your channel Steve. I'm a fan.

That's a $94 dollar difference in the price leaving HB plenty of room for their shipping to be added on. Free shipping from Reverb? I love HB's, and I love buying from Reverb. Don't forget the import tariffs. The last time I got a "free" Harley Benton from Thomann, I paid a $60 tariff on a $400 item. That seems around 15%, but I'd have to check the label to calculate the exact amount and it was like 5 years ago, so long gone.

Last night, I was watching a video of the newest Harley single cut LP/ESP style axe with the EMG's and flamed maple veneer top. It seemed like something I'd have lusted over, had it existed, back in the early 90s when I was just getting into electric guitar. I spent a lot on a Gibson, whereas a HB would have left me enough money to get a really great high gain tube amp.

I still have and love my first gen fusion with HHFR with the maple neck. I have no idea how awesome the non locker tuners are because I never have to tune it. I did swap some SD pickups but it was a marginal change at best. I have a couple HBs and will always be a fan. I put locking tuners on the TE90 tele but for the most part they remain unchanged. Now with free shipping?...might be a NGD in the near future. Oh, and nice picking as always, Steve.

My aunt sent me one of these guitars back in the 1st of July and I still haven't got it yet here. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada, but they supposedly sent an email. My aunts in California, she sent it as a present to me. I'm a guitarist and I still haven't got it yet. Mine yet it's, you know, if they said it was gonna be shipped out in November, so I'm still waiting patiently. That's over 6 months now and I still haven't got it yet. Harley Benton has had their Reverb Connecticut distributor for sometime...began in 2022 I believe so it's not a new thang....Indeed Connecticut offers free shipping , just pay tax. Inventory might be limited but you save on the outrageous shipping charges from Germany to the U.S.. My first HB ordered from Thomann was the Keith Richards Tribute "Micawber" Tele TE53-KR. Gorgeous finish but it weighed 10lbs !!! On many models HB has a reputation for some of their guitars being rather heavy and also having sharp frets as well. Thankfully I sold my TE53-KR...took a financial beating..as I was into that guitar for $400...$220 for the guitar, plus $80 shipping, plus $120 for a full set up by a local luthier and some nice $20 flat wounds (which I prefer). I then ordered a the ST62-MN VW Strat copy from the Reverb Connecticut warehouse...no shipping, just paid tax and thankfully after my request, this model weighs under 7lbs ! Took less than a week to arrive.

Seems like a nice guitar Steve and thanks for throwing in some clean tones. The computer software provides great sounds, but do wish you would do more just plugged into an amp demos of guitars, cuz lots of us don't have the computer software and equipment that you happen to be useing. Also have you done a video about the software that you are using ? If so please provide us with a link. Otheriwise I think your videos are educationally great and entertaining to watch.

I'm with you to a big degree. I looked for a comment like yours before typing a very similar thing. I like your diplomacy too. Respect ! My thoughts are like a pitchfork that I'm finally attuned to that screams : Its a rig demo triggered by a HB this time. For some reason particularly I this promo. I'm pretty much a fan of this channel and have been for quite some time now. My "Big" rig has some similarities to what I'm hearing here, in that practically no matter what guitar and or pickup, and or pickup position you use it sounds killer. But I hear literally no difference between guitars on this channel. Like no guitar has an individual voice or character. But I can hear the difference between my kit guitar with off the shelf junky pickups, to the slight steps up to stuff like wilkinson pickups and GM similar to another slight improvement to Kent Armstrong. EMG81, J90c, dp152 super 3 is a notch above. Gibson, Fender, Ibanez, duncan, import Duncan's. Etc etc. Etc. Each seem to have subtle differences. Pots, waxed, mods. All with real amps. Weather tube or SS. But the "patch" he's in love with has finally wore to predictable for me to ignore anymore without saying something. IF it's like a trademark now, I kinda get it though. I can tell its him immediately when KZbin is just auto suggesting his show.

Harley Benton ST-62MN VW Vintage White from Germany is $133. From Reverb, the same guitar is $199. I know that shipping is part of the equation. If you are going to buy something online, chances are you are going to have to pay for shipping, especially for large items. I still love Harley Benton, but don't tell me the shipping is free when it's just been incorporated into the price. Plus, you lose the, "Bundle and Save" option too.

Ive ordered a couple of guitars from them I think the shipping was around $60 I cant remember, even if I added the shipping to the total cost it was still was way less then a les Paul and a great playing guitar,I live in missouri and it would only take 2 to 3 days at the longest to recieve ,I also heard they I beleive have couple of warehouses in the US ,I think harley benten is a bang for the buck even with the shipping cost, I really like your videos take care god bless

Harley Benton’s logo is Terrible. They should shorten it to just “Benton” and come up with a new eye-catching iconic logo. Like Ford, Pepsi, Nike, Gibson etc… something you know exactly what it is and represents at a glance. I think Harley Benton makes decent guitars - a few of them are exceptionally crafted. But that awful signature logo makes them look cheap. And I just so happen to know the Perfect artist to rebrand their logo. Guess who? That’s right. That would be Me. Not to brag or sound narcissistic, but I just so happen to be the Greatest artist on the planet. I mop the floor with other artists. So yeah, shorten the name to just “Benton” and rebrand that logo. Because there is only one “Harley”. And that is Davidson. And there is one setting in my garage right now. In a puddle of oil. Which I am finna go out and repair. Because I am also the Greatest mechanic who ever lived. And guitarist. And best looking most handsome man who ever walked this planet. But again, I’m not bragging. I’m just sharing the facts. One last fact, this is the Greatest guitar show on KZbin. I think you are fantastic, Steve. And Good Lord you are a Great guitarist. Love this show.

And I bout 2 PRS in the past and absolutely despised them more than any other guitars I’ve ever owned. I was thinking about getting an NF3 because they have to be great. But decided I’m not even taking a chance with PRS. And I stopped buying Gibson a couple decades ago. I’ve always had a ton of Fender Strats of various makes. But now that Squires are so good I stopped even looking at Fender. I can buy an Indonesian Squire that’s has a great neck and body for $150 used or $2-250 new. Put $200 into it and set it up to my liking and it’ll rival any Fender. And I don’t care anymore what the headstock says. Unless it says ESP I’ll always buy and play ESP
