Items such as the studs, spokes, triple head lamps and huge front fender are what define the Heritage and make it such a standout.

I bought a used 2016 heritage instead of a new one. They changed them in 2018. Feels like the new ones have the floorboards up higher than the old ones. That would explain the better lean angle of the new ones. On the old heritage like mine the boards are down lower and further forward. I’m more comfortable and laid back on the old heritage than I am on a RK or touring bike. Sat on them today and immediately noticed the floorboards were much higher and my knees were up in the air. I’m 6’3 so that don’t feel good to me. So it baffles me how guys say the RK is better for bigger guys.

I haven't ridden one, But I have sat on a RK and You're right, it felt a little cramped

I love the screen on my heritage classic at 6' 2". I often hold my hand up at speed and the wind only hits the top third of my helmet. I might get a 21 inch screen since I love being out of the wind.

Yeah, I think a little taller on this bike would have been great. If It were mine I'd go a little taller.

@bertsbike Жыл бұрын
Yes! They are old school! My friend has an older heritage; Still studded, but instead of black rectangles they’re chrome and round (the real old school! 🤣). Appreciate ya. Thanks for watching!

728 lbs is not that heavy.
@bertsbike Жыл бұрын
Compared to what tho? Harley’s are heavier than most other brand’s comparative bikes. Against other Harley’s it’s not. The Street Glide is 796lbs. and the Road Glide is 826lbs. So not too far behind.

@@bertsbike I'm actually considering one because its a nice light bike for a cruiser! Perspective I guess,
@bertsbike11 ай бұрын
@@nadosjamz For sure! IMO It’s a solid choice if you’re going the Harley route.

If you don't need or want a touring frame Harley but want the same power and similar comfort, the Heritage will shed off about 100 or so pounds of weight which you'll definitely feel. Makes it easier for communting or around town rides, but still competent on the highway.
@bertsbike9 ай бұрын
@@MarkPalmer1000 Yes. Seems to be the sweet spot.
