Just bought the Vivid Black 2020 Heritage Classic 114. Traded my 2013 Sportster XL1200 Custom. Man, new bike is night and day. The Heritage FLHCS is comfort, and the Milwaukee 8 engine is power. That retro 1940's police bike look is so fricken cool. Well worth the money, and got a great deal on buying new at the Greenville SC dealership !!!👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸100% to the Yes on this bike !!!

If you've had a Harley, you have to ride the '18 Softail to understand how sweet a ride it is. I've had a couple Harley's and they did not handle that well, the 2018 Heritage does handle well. Like he said, its a nice, comfortable ride. One thing to note, the Heritage shock adjustment is under the seat and requires the Harley wrench. The Fatboy's adjustment is a knob you can adjust on the outside. No pun intended!

To disable the cruise, you can also roll the throttle forward from the throttles idle position. This is my dream bike, and I just purchased one last December. Coming from an 06’ Vulcan 900 and an 07’ boulevard c90. The Vulcan had something like a 32-34 degree lean, and I LOVED scraping my boards on it, slow or fast. I’ve only scraped on the heritage once, and that was just the other day. (Only been riding it since the beginning of April). The lean is 28 left, 27 right. I scraped on the right, haha. I’m 5’6, 5’7.5 in my boots and fit this bike perfectly.

"Harley is getting rid of the quick detach stuff." that would be a huge mistake, being able to go from a bagger to a sleek cruiser is a big part of the H-D appeal. The 2018 Heritage is awesome, took me some time to get used to some of the cosmetic changes. Although, right away I liked the blacked out parts.

How are the mirrors on the Heritage Softail? Looks like you might have the same issue we have with the Iron 883 where all you can see are your shoulders and arms. It also looks like swapping and turning the mirrors upsidedown isn't an option on the Heritage because of the tank.

Forrest Culver most will have a set route. I have a couple different ones I do depending on the person I'm taking out. If you aren't comfortable on the road I would definitely let them know.
