I love the detail you get into with these bikes. Your reviews answer the questions that none of the others do and you come at these reviews from a normal person perspective and not an ex racer view. Reviewers where peak horsepower and brakes are everything and the fact that the bike needs to run on unicorn tears and valve checks every 100 miles is glossed over.

Thanks for the in depth review Juliane. I've been riding big twin Harley cruisers for decades in America but this bike has really opened my eyes to the adv. market. I've been researching all the other manufacturers models to educate myself on what to compare this to ever since it was announced. We should be seeing these in dealerships very soon and I can't wait to test ride it. I believe this will be added to my stable once I experience the capabilities of this machine for an alternative type of riding. I'm going on 56 years old and at 5'8" (almost 173 cm) I was worried about seat height but you pretty much put that to rest. Now I'm absolutely salivating to put this through it's paces! Keep up the great work, your knowledge and skills are impressive. I'm now a new subscriber. Danke Schoen

Wow, I never thought you would be the first Pan America review to come out! Keep it up Juliane! What are your thoughts on the suspension comfort? @ridenroll.juliane3 жыл бұрын
The suspension was very comfortable in the Road Mode. In Sport Mode it was harder and sportier. For the Pan America Special with the semi-active suspension it depends on the mode you‘re in. In User mode you can also adjust it individually. Hope this helped :) Unfortunately I can’t tell you anything about the suspension of the base model because I haven’t tried that yet. Greetings from Australia. Fantastic, comprehensive, real world review ... thank you! I am encouraged by the fact that you are able to ride such a big bike as I am only two centimetres taller than you. My 2017 BMW S1000XR is about due for replacement and your review of the Pan Am has been very helpful in putting the Pan Am in the frame for me. At age 67 I don't do much off-road riding any more but I certainly do a lot of long-distance touring ... often covering anywhere from 800 to 1200 kms a day. The Pan Am seems like an ideal bike for that. The weight worries me a bit but we'll see how that goes when I get to do a test ride. My local HD dealer has a static model to look at but no test ride models until June. The Pan Am looks a lot better "in the flesh" than it does in videos and brochures and the the headlight is not as ugly/offensive as it appears in promotional material. I agree with you about the need for an advanced bike like the Pan Am to have a quick shifter. Thanks again for a terrific review.

Good afternoon from America. First let me say I really liked your review of this new model from harley davidson. The Pan America. I was to be one of the first to received the new model but I'm battling covid in my legs. I'm in recovery. Which is disappointed. Making a slow recovery but getting there. I have a 32 inch pants leg inseam. And this seat drop is perfect. I probably would have bought a KTM a few years back but I was dangling my legs trying to touch the ground. I'm 6'1" tall but still have issues. The hill hold control is wonderful. Men and women listen up. This is great. When loading and unloading a motorcycle can get critical at times and people tend to hurry holding a finger on the front break and throttle control at the same time. Causing crashes. What a wonderful idea and sold me completely. Soon as I heal up from covid I'm off to order me a special in this model. Thanks
