I doubt this would work with a headlight fairing being the bracket mounts to those 2 holes you used to mount the gauges

Hey love the vids. I have a 99 FXDX and am looking to put the krator fairing on but realized the lowered triple tree doesn’t have the hole to bottom mount the headlight for the block. You mentioned you wanted to do the same so I was wondering if you have yet or come to a conclusion on what your gna do?

I ended up drilling the lower tree and using the Moonsmc headlight block. Turned out great. I have this and many videos recorded. I'll try and get them all edited and posted soon.

Ahh nice! Yes please I’d like to see the video to see how I’d go about doing this. Not sure if my tree is aluminum or cast. Was the drilling hard or easy? Thanks for the info man!

@@TheHermz The trees are aluminum. I think I had to remove the wheel to get the drill under the tree. The drilling was easy but shavings get everywhere.

This is a really good idea , I have a FXDX and I'm gonna put a pullback riser on the triple tree , But I don't like the way the gauges stand straight up an down , I like the slanted position . Good idea but I think I will use Hardened stainless bolts and black impact sockets with several coats of flat polyurethane inside an out of the socket that should keep it from rusting , those Chrome sockets will rust quick .
