This is definitely my favorite episode of Back Issues in recent memory not because of the story or suicide squad. I love this one because SAL, ETHAN, AND TIFFANY are superbly entertaining and hilarious in their observations and conversation about the source material. The most unintentionally funny thing about the new 52 suicide squad run was that the writers would change like every two issues or so after about the first volume, the death of the family tie ins at the latest. that had the effect of characters and entire subplots getting lost or forgotten. This gave me the theory that Harley is narrating the entire book, and the lost characters and stories are just her getting bored and leaving stuff out. This happens with El Diablo for awhile, he embraces satan at one point, only to not appear again until the latest arc of new suicide squad several years later. King Shark is also my favorite member. Turns out he is literally the King of sharks, since his dad is a literal shark god from like Polynesia or somewhere in Oceania. I think his mum was like a virgin sacrifice from the locals who gave birth to an entire school of little shark babies, most of whom ate each other. Its a shame he was lost to a black hole or something with his dad and an OMAC during forever evil. Well he was in the Bunn Aquaman run, but i think he would have preferred death to that.

I still say the Suicide Squad (2016) should have used The Joker as the main villain which is why Waller would recruit Harley. With the death of superman and the whole dceu in chaos at this time. JOKER is up to something (not world ending just a simple silly plot) so the squad is assembled to take down joker. The ending would be Harley deciding between betraying the joker or the squad and stopping him
