I absolutely love the landscaping you did in the orb! Everything from the lil stones to the quartz and the backdrop planties. It looks like fairyland! I wish I could get a terrarium as well but I'm pretty much out of space :/ Also it is quite hard to get such planties here in Northern Europe (as far as I know).

I don't know if you have something like gumtree where you are, but if you do keep an eye in the aquarium section for a cheap one you could easily and cheaply modify one to make a terrarium...i did and its lasted almost 2 yrs..💜

The orb is amazing, and it is nice to see someone with your plant experience have plants that are less than perfect as well. Is it easy to clean up, removing dead leaves and such? Also, maybe put a very fly trap in there, might take care of the nat problem.

If you haven’t watched kaylee Ellen’s you definitely should. Especially because any type of aroids don’t do very well after a while. They end up rooting into the mat. Also, the lights end up burning many of the plants, then the tape she used- also burned eventually. After some time, the mister wouldn’t shut off therefore drenching her babies. She’s had it for a while, a year at least. It’s a really informative video! She’s honest about how it works!

I have been looking at different terrariums and I actually looked this one up because I saw it mentioned briefly in another video.I have had fish tanks since I was a kid and I have kept plants ,but I want a terrium bad.I am partial to red plants. One of my favorites has a green leaf with red veins through it. I really like airplants.I think that I am just going to get a large exotic variety that I really want instead of growing a bunch of small ones like I originally planned. I am going to grow a bunch of succulents and cacti.

I watched the Kaylee Ellen video on the biorb and she says the lights ended up bleaching her obliqua leaves because they were too bright so maybe don't rely on the timer as it may be too much light for those plants. Also there is supposed to be a felt mat between the basin and the substrate, which wicks up water from the basin and keeps the coir moist. Did that not come with yours?
