I have bipolar disorder, and during a hospitalisation many years ago I was injected against my will. The side effect was akathisia that didn't go away for two months or more. It was awful. From the second I woke up until the second I was exhausted enough to pass out, I couldn't stop moving, and walked miles pacing up and down every day. It's not like being high on speed or coffee, it is a torturous inner agitation, you can't stop moving no matter how much you are tired and don't want to move. I tried to go home for Christmas day and had to leave because the house wasn't big enough for my fast pacing. At times it was impossible or hellish to sit down in a taxi and be restricted in a confined space, unable to move the way I 'needed to.' I don't resent being put in a hospital because I needed to be there, but I resent that psychiatric patients are forcibly given such barbaric drugs without consent. It's institutional abuse.

Ive had that same feeling from different drugs. Id explain its almost like a bad pain that only constant movement helps with . Yet even the movement barely helps even a little. Its the most horrid feeling. Like u you cant rest or relax till u r totally exhausted and even then rest is very short and once u wake u cant stop the movement. I hope u r doing well now.

I got AKATHISIA from trying CELEXA and it was a living nightmare. It was so bad it resembled tardive DISKENISIA. My right foot kept moving up and down involuntarily so I couldn't stand even though I wanted to walk. My head started trembling like Muhammaf Ali or people with Parkinsons. I never wanted pharma for my body no matter what, and my very first time convinced to try a HARMLESS drug almost killed me. I'll never trust a doctor pill pusher ever again.

I then entered inpatient psych because I thought the doctors could help, but they prescribed Klonopin. when i discontinued that, the akathisia came back and I suffered a protracted withdrawal for two years. Lost my job and nearly my life. 😢

Dr. Josef, I am so thankful for you and the work you are doing. I am learning so much from watching your videos. I am a physician and I was also a “ psychiatric patient” for years. I have been given a number of drugs since I was 17. It started with SSRIs, to antipsychotics and mood stabilizers. I was getting worse and so my psychiatrist would change and add and etc. I never considered that the drugs could be helping to make me sicker and I was a medical student at the time, studying to actually become a psychiatrist myself. By the end of medical school something shifted for me. I was going through a psychiatric hospital for children in Argentina, and when I saw kids who had been drugged since early ages it daunted on me. I started to ask myself questions: what are the consequences of these drugs in our human body? How could this fix anything? What I am doing to myself? And that was the beginning. I finished medical school and in the exact graduation day I quitted venlafaxine cold turkey. Ugh... it was a ride. I was feeling so determined and I knew it was gonna be hard but I was willing to endure it. My family and friends would all tell me to get back on the drugs but I wanted to know myself again without any drugs. By then I was 26, so 9 years on and off multiple drugs. I am 30 now and I am a completely different person. I decided I didn’t want to become a psychiatrist anymore. I couldn’t stand the idea of going through the system and serving it after knowing what I now know. I have been studying ever since and I have been focusing on deprescribing and offering people alternative ways to heal and integrate their experiences. It started to help myself and now I want to share it with others. So thank you for all this valuable information and your willingness to help.

Hey! I am feeling significantly better. It was intensely hard for the first year, and then things got smoother. I also changed in other aspects of my life, I spend a lot of time in nature, deleted social medias, learnt to be honest even when it’s uncomfortable (first off with myself) and learnt how to endure difficult times (because I would always get desperate and sometimes suicidal). I mean, I AM learning still. I guess life is a learning process, a great opportunity. The whole experience taught me SO much I cannot help but thank it. I wish you well 🤍

I completely understand. I had an MSW and was planning on continuing, but after working in the hospital and mental health system, experiencing the bureaucracy and over medicating of patients, I had to walk away for MY mental health. I also was prescribed a light benzo and an SSRI during a contentious divorce, and the neverending side fx from tapering and withdrawals is a horror I never hope to experience again. Glad ur feeling better. These poisons damage ur brain, and it can take years to heal.

Why are so many doctors so uncaring and irresponsible that they prescribe any drug what so ever no matter the real side effects? There are so many drugs that are causing great harm. I have lost hearing, have dizziness, and have tinnitus because of Ciprofloxin. At lest I did got over the great pain it caused. Doctors didn't look at the drugs the patient is on to see if someone can take a new drug even when they have their computers open - looking at the patients information. Doctors don't seem to care if they cause all kinds of harm!

Recently, I was hospitalized after a stroke and given Reglan for nausea (generic name metoclopromide). From being weak and dizzy but OK, it became a nightmare. Hospital staff recognized the cause immediately when I told them how I felt. They promised not to give me any more. After 3 days I was moved to another unit and given Reglan again with worse reaction. Both times I wanted to die to escape the feeling. I asked the doctor why they would ever give that to anyone trying to heal. They said most times it's OK. I am 62 y.o., have never had any other psychiatric symptoms in my life.

I had some serious side effects after iron infusion drip,stopping walking .was wrongly diagnosed with bipolar ,when it was neuro symptoms . They gave me gabapenton ,made me very drunk ,laughing for hours at nothing. They later said they gave me too much .I refused anymore .one other had me digging my way to China 😂😂

My experience with Reglan for nausea to treat my persistent headache disorder/occipital neuralgia caused by risperidone led me to admitting that I wanted to die at the university of Michigan ER which led me to a psych unit which then led me to an official diagnosis of Occipital Neuralgia. The reason I even said I wanted to die was because of the akathisia that went unrecognized so despite me saying that I couldn’t lay down in the bed and was feeling restless, they couldn’t tell me what was happening… This was around the point I was recovering from akathisia so of course it retraumatized me into saying that I wanted to give up, these hospitals are ruthless and disgusting when it comes to iatrogenic conditions and patients dealing with them, our healthcare system is a fasad 🤦🏻‍♂️ I don’t think I brought this up in our interview but it did happen

Jordan Peterson had akthesia too...he wanted to almost die it was so bad I think he sorted it by getting off all meditations and going on the lion diet... eating only meat. Nothing else. He talks about it on youtube as does his daughter mikala peterson. They both discuss Jordan petersons akathesia...I guess they want people to know about it.

When I was looking for information on ritalin it was very hard to find adverse experiences. If I had found a video of yours back then I would never have taken the drug. I have a rare autoimmune kidney disease. I’ve been given this exact medication in-patient, it was a disaster. By nature I’m a very laid back person. When I was given this medication I felt like I was having a panic attack x’s 10, awful. Once the doctor realized I wasn’t “overreacting” I was hit with 50 (IV) of Benadryl. One of the worst most terrifying experiences I’ve ever had with a medication.

I had a similar experience. I had nausea when I was in the hospital. They gave me Reglan in my iv. I almost immediately wanted to jump out of the bed, rip out my iv, blood pressure cuff, etc. and run out of the hospital. I had to force myself to stay. I told the nurse and she gave me something to counteract it - I don’t know what. It was exactly that - a panic attack x 20!!

I’m going through this right now since sept 2021 and it has nearly ended my life a dozen times and nearly did not awake again 3months ago. What makes it even worse is to be gaslit and verbally abused and reprimanded and called names, yelled at and threatened by the psych community where I live and have no chance to escape. I’ve had other weird symptoms from psych meds, Benedryl, seizure meds, and secession from pain medicine after surgeries etc. one of the worst parts is the cervical and upper trunk dystonia and the medical trauma of my physical health aside from the “depression “ that was caused by ???? Yep doesnt surprise me sad to say Iv suspected for a while how those who take an issue with those who have a problem from being victims of abuse, do so from the heights of their throne of being able to hurl out abuses but when they do it, it is not abuse. Another type of drug you might want to look into is cipro. It can be devastating to take, especially with people who are using benzos. But It has caused horrible problems for people not on benzos. Akathesia is one problem.

Cipro makes me horribly depressed, like suicidal. I can barely finish 1 course of it. I saw a study claiming that it interacts with the GABA/glutamate system as well as decreasing serotonin (among other things). That's to say nothing about its dangerous effects on tendons & ligaments. I am completely physically disabled and the mental issues and akathisia terror and fear is unreal! I have no history of mental of physical illness besides kidney stones. Just one dose and I’m severely disabled and can no longer care for myself. I don’t know how I am still alive. Also no meds before or after that IV dose.. but may need something soon since I’ve lost everything in my life and unsure how to heal 😢

I want to encourage you and say I had a NDE of terror followed by PTSD and nearly 3 years off work, and I thought it impossible to heal. I was wrong, thank God or Nature. We are only just beginning to learn how much the brain can heal. It may be worth looking at some of the natural substances used to heal the brain used in the ReCode programme. Same brain. NAC and Glycine, very high dose DHA, alpha GPC, probiotics especially focused on gut-brain connection, I’d go step by step and raise doses very gradually. See a Dr of Functional Medicine. I also used tDCS, and cheaper MTC intranasal light therapy units, 810nm and 633nm.

In the states the black box warning doesn’t always come out at the same time as the drug. Black box warning didn’t come out for Paxil until 4 years later. The FDA confirmed that. We have to look into every medication we take.. I’m assuming there’s other drugs that didn’t have it until later

The second I saw the title I suspected it was Reglan. I had such a horrific experience during two different emergency room visits, that I now have this drug listed as an 'allergy' medication. To make matters worse, I had a G.I. doctor tell me I NEEDED to take this medication for my gastroparesis. I explained in no uncertain terms that was NOT going to happen, and because of their attitude and their doubt, I had to find another G.I. doctor to help me manage my digestive problems. I would highly encourage anyone who feels 'different' when taking this medication to STOP taking it, only if you just started. I have had so many bad experiences with medications over the years, I don't currently take anything other than over-the-counter med. for heartburn if I must. These videos are so very important, and I appreciate the content creator for taking the time to present this information to a public that needs to be aware....blessings....

I was given metoclopramide intravenously for severe morning sickness together with saline drip and almost immediately had a horrific attack of akathisia. I couldn't stay on the bed and I was ripping the IV drip of my arm and was running around the hospital bed like crazy. The emergency doctor didn't recognise that she caused me this akathisia attack by metoclopramide and, instead, she started telling me to consider abortion... The attack subsided in a couple of hours and I went home. I thought that I had suddenly some kind of a madness episode as I had no explanation for what happened. Later on GP then prescribed me metoclopramide tablets and as soon as I took the first tablet I had a similar attack, just not so severe. I then told that to GP and he immediately told me that it was an adverse effect of metoclopramide and that I should never take this medication again.

Have had MDD my whole life & avoided SSRIs until 5 years ago. Single best decision of my life was starting Fluoxetine. I'm on 40mg/day. Haven't moved that since my first year of treatment Just wanted to counterpoint, since I had been scared off for so long from what has been a truly life-saving and life-enhancing drug for me. Generally YOU have AGENCY to decide the course of your healthcare. Don't blindly trust your doctor, avoid polypharmacy wherever possible. KNOW your drugs inside and out. Keep records. Hate Reglan. SO MUCH. I was given Reglan for migraines in the ER. Shortly after Administration I was so restless it took everything I had not to rip my IV out of me, run up and down and down the halls then find a corner and start shrieking due to the restlessness and spike in blood pressure that it gave me. It took me three weeks or more to recover from one dose as the next day I would feel really dead and severely depressed inside. When I wasn’t staring into space, I needed to be walking. It was so similar to what I went through on psych meds I would have flashbacks for weeks until reglan withdrawal was over of my bad experiences on psych meds. One single dose. BTW, Seroquel and Reglan are my top, most hated drugs. I can’t handle even one dose of reglan for a day. I can’t believe they had you on that every day. I can’t even believe that’s a thing considering the side effects and complaints I’ve seen on it. What a sham.

I took half a dose of Seroquel when I was awake for three days/three nights from severe benzo withdrawal including unrelenting inner akathisia after a 25% cut that I was holding. I fell asleep for an hour and woke up with full blown akathisia. I felt constant terror and could not stop moving for several hours.

Years ago I was suffering from severe withdrawal symptoms as I chose to quit a 9 year heroin habit that allowed me to cope with this awful world and its awful inhabitants. After a couple of ER visits due to dehydration and inability to retain fluids or food, they gave me Compazine so I could "hold down food". Next day after failed attempt at breakfast with the compazine in my system I had a seizure of some kind. My muscles going stiff while in the shower and I felt very weird so I got out to dry. Then my spine began to twist, my neck, my jaw, legs...everything was twisting to the left...it was all twisting like something out of my control was twisting my body to extreme degrees. It was God awful!!!!! I had to be helped onto a couch by my father who called 911. I couldn't overpower the body and my body began spinning into the cushions like I was being attacked by an alligator underwater.. I had zero bodily control except to keep trying to resist my body's contorting to such an extreme I thought I was going to break my own back, neck and jaw. I could barely suck air into my lungs my body was so contorted. I was rushed to ER, and two EMTs couldn't pin my body down and the IV kept tangling and shifting. By time I'm arriving at hospital I'd already been fighting for my life for 45 minutes. I was past exhaustion.. I literally had no energy or will left and was basically preparing to surrender to this bizarre death apparently occuring. A nurse saw me barely able to suck air and contorting and she rushed in and injected something (valium?) Into my IV and my body finally relaxed. I slept two hours when I woke up my entire body was more sore than I thought physically possible. I will have 10 years sober in December 2023. 🙏 💪

I had the same with Compazine given to me during pregnancy so I could sit through my state nursing boards testing for 2 days. The first day on Compazine, my vision blurred. The second day, I developed uncontrollable teeth grinding and hyperventilating which led to me having to leave my test before completing and rushing to the ER. I was given IV Diphenhydramine which stopped the reactions. Terrible drug and I’m surprised my doctor prescribed Compazine for pregnancy nausea.

Dr Josef I live in the US and use the VA Medical System. I have to read up on the drugs they want me to take and they don’t offer to discuss drug side effects. I have had to be my own advocate to avoid being pushed into ineffective opioids for pain which they do so they can diagnose you as an addict so they can ignore you and your symptoms. Benzodiazepines are a two edged sword in the positive they can turn off grief and dampen anxiety to almost manageable levels but it’s a diminishing effect with every dose. But it is addictive at least for some and detrimental for them to get off of them. That adds anxiety to the decision to even take them.

I was given this once in the hospital when I was having GI issues and within 20 minutes I couldn't sit still. I felt like I was crawling out of my skin and it took me about 15 minutes to figure out what was happening. Of course I googled the side effects of reglan and bam, there it was. They actually had to give me Valium to settle me down. The terrifying part of this is that my infant daughter was prescribed this for the first 2 years of her life.... I had no clue. 35 years ago people weren't talking about these things, you did what your doctor told you to do.

That’s exactly how I described my accidental withdrawal “ I felt like I wasn’t fighting for my life”. Had to be put on klonapin to stabilize and am still on it 8 yrs later. Afraid to risk even trying to come off. I thought I was having a nervous breakdown until I seen a video on KZbin two years after this happened and had to diagnose myself as to what happened to me. Doctors never told me that’s what it was either. Just like this guy they ran all the tests all of them and nothing showed up! Everything was negative. It was a horrible time in my life and for my family seeing me like that. I had to call the ambulance three times and this was only a total of two months before I got stabilized again. I could never imagine two years of this. I hate the thought of being a prisoner to meds but I feel i have to accept it. I never take the medicines my doctor's prescribed for me. I get home and I start reading about the side effects and I throw that stuff right in the trash . I was put on savala for fibromyalgia several years ago. I followed the doctors instructions. I'd let them increase my dosage until it was dangerous to me and raised my Blood Pressure or to almost the fatal level. I weighed myself off of that drug without my doctor's permission. I took CBD oil for 2 years. I feel great now. I don't take any medicines at all.and I still feel great. And recently they passed a bill that medicines. Don't have to be tested on animals anymore. I had a reglan pump in my thigh, for a week, when I was pregnant with my second child. I was sick the entire 9 months. I thank God I didn't have any adverse side effects from this drug. It did help very much with my nausea. I stayed at my grandparents house, for a week. With the pump on my thigh. I had a home health nurse, and an IV in a pole, with wheels. As sick as I was, I'm very fortunate that I didn't have side effects. And it was about one of the only weeks that I didn't throw up or feel nauseous. My heart goes out to this man. Reglan! Omigod! They gave me an injection in the ER and within minutes I was nearly screaming. I felt terrified like a monster was chasing me and my body felt creepy. A couple of years later, I was working late and my young daughter had a severe stomach bug. She could not stop vomiting. My husband took her to the same ER and they also gave her Reglan (my husband forgot my horror story) and she had the exact same reaction. Zofran is now the gold standard.

Whew, was scared this'd be about Zofran. Always read the package insert because ANY class of drugs can cause unwanted mental/psych symptoms. Antibiotics, hormonal birth control meds & corticosteroids are particularly bad in this regard. That doesn't mean you should be scared or not take them, it just means you should be aware that if you start feeling "weird" it's likely due to the drug and will end. And if it reaches crisis level you should go to the ER and talk to a medical professional about the safest way to quit the medicine. Doctors rarely warn about side effects in my experience.

I have experienced akinesia but was not diagnosed as I was also gaslighted. I ended up self medicating with gabapentin or pregabalin which reduce my symptoms massively however I'm worried about becoming addicted to the gaba drugs. I have experienced addiction to GBL and it was horrendous. I was housebound for aprox 3 years to recover. I'm so sorry you are experiencing this living torture. There needs to be a verbal warning from doctors for medications that can cause these issues.

I'm only a few minutes inta this video but I have ta say: I have diabetic gastroperasis & was put on Reglan (aka metoclopramide) for 3yrs at 45mg a day (ur only supposed ta be onit for 3 months tops btw) & in that time I became suicidal, i was diagnosed with clinical depression with anxiety (sheer panic more like it) sleep disorder & Agoraphobia... I STILL SUFFER FROM ALL OF THEM!!! My psychiatrist said I opened a door that most likely will neva close & put me on head meds 😢... My Reglan story. I was 36, no stranger to medical procedures or Drs. Was about to undergo a C-section for my twins. I had the usual nerves, but a general & overriding excitement about meeting my babies! I was happily chatting n joking with my hubby in the pre-op room when a nurse came in and administered IV Metoclopramide (Reglan) and within moments from the time she left, I started to PANIC. I had the strangest urge to LEAVE. I told hubby I had to get out! I know the babies had to come out, but ALSO that I had to escape that place RIGHT NOW! It just went on like that. I had to just fight all those hard emotions, do my 4-4 breathing, and keep from constant panic. It was definitely unnecessary stress in an already difficult time. I read up and IV administration IN PARTICULAR is notorious for causing psych symptoms, more often than the oral variety. That's all I remember, can recall which study I read, my apologies, it was over a decade ago🙏❤️ **Side Note: The Panic State also set it with me once after IV administration of Compazine (sp?) a medication given me in the Emergency Dept to treat head pain.

Compazine and Reglan are basically the same drug class, compazine is an old antipsychotic, like Haldol or thorazine, but compazine is used almost exclusively as a nausea medication now. But it works in the same way Reglan does, and therefore you end up with the same dangerous side effect profile

Ah ha... I knew that I wasn't entirely crazy. I have suffered from idiopathic gastroparesis for 15 years and doctors, especially ER doctors, try to almost force Reglan. It puts me in this state of extreme, almost panic, I want to crawl out of my own skin, my abdominal pain soars off the scales and a become such a b!/ch I can't even stand to be around myself. Most med professionals blow this off, one nurse 5 years ago finally listened and told me to start listing Reglan as an allergy. I had gastroenteritis a week ago and iv zofran didn't work. Had to take metaclopramide, it is very powerful for nausea. I only took it for 2 days and during that time I felt irritable and was unable to enjoy music for some reason. It resolved after I stopped taking it so I guess I was lucky. Was keeping a box around to use in the future if it happened again but now I guess I will look for other alternatives.

Wow! My dog was given this drug on two different occasions, and he had an insane reaction both times. The second time, he got so angry and aggressive that even the vet was scared of him... (and he was not a big dog..) He was so aggressive that she couldn't get close enough to get his IV out, so we just had to tie a knot on the IV tube and cut it off. So I took him home and waited for the drug to get out of the body before I could remove the IV tube....

Akathisia is no joke, easily suicidal levels of discomfort at its worst. I experienced it for about 15-20 min before a dose of morphine completely resolved the symptoms, but I absolutely could not have imagined living like that for more than a few days. I would have checked myself out of the ER and sat in a shower for hours. Luckily whatever I received via IM cleared my system before the morphine wore off.

I had tardive dyskinesia from metoclopromide. It was horrible!!! I work as an ER nurse, was prescribed this when I had influenza and actually had to go into the ER to be treated with Benadryl IV. I was pacing all night long, at least 14 hours straight, agitated and could not sit still or sleep, horrid anxiety, and then my right arm began to contract up to my face and my jaw began to lock up. Never taking that again, listed as a severe allergy for me! Never had an my long lasting effects, thank God.

Oh goodness, this is horrible! I have a Boxer dog undergoing cancer treatments and she developed diarrhea and lack of appetite. She was taking flagyl ( which I was hesitant to give due to side effects of longer term use) , but recently, Reglan, but only for 4 days. We did the four day script over a 6 day period, and the drug did seem to help a bit. She has good days and bad days so difficult to tell which drug is causing the bad days. We have a refill- ugh, afraid now to refill.

Metoclopramide is potentially bad news long term use, even mid term tbh. So I believe your guest, because I've seen metoclopramide side effects. Had a patient once that quickly got better after we stopped his metoclopramide also prescribed for some minor nausea. Yes, it can cause parkinsonism just like neuroleptics do and should pretty much never be given to people known to have parkinsons imo. I laughed out loud (but it wasn't funny) when the guest said he was offered Seroquel. I'll dare say the guest did the right thing and got off the meds. Am enjoying a lot of your vids. That's terrible they took that risk! I'm glad you didn't have any negative effects. At the inpatient eating disorder treatment I went to, they just gave us fiber and probiotics (like kefir) to help with digestion, and tums for nausea or heartburn, and also told us to do deep-breathing to help with nausea (one told me "sit on the chair outside for a while and pretend you're blowing bubbles.") These all worked well imo, there's no need to give everyone reglan!

Always ask what type of drug you’re being given, because they don’t always tell you. Antipsychotics like relgan, compazine, etc given for nausea can have dangerous permanent side effects after just one dose!

I have not read all of the comments yet and I am struck by there not being any discussion about complimentary medical supplements that would help the brain heal by providing proper nutrients for good brain function and health! For example I would think that magnesium glycinate could have a calming effect and a very large population has been shown to be mg deficient! No sugar in the diet is very important! N-Acetyl-Cysteine has been proven to be helpful with OCD [could help here too] No chat in this interview about the benefits of exercise and it's natural production of endorphins! If I were Diogo I would be moving towards natural beneficial brain nutrients and not pharmaceuticals! Give your brain the food it needs to function well and feel good ! Be well and be blessed !🙂

I canceled theese cold turkey and partially recovered in a year. But the depression and disphoria was still present. Now I am on Venlafaxine 300 and Mirtazapine 15 + Gabapentine 1200mg. What really helped is Gabapentine. It soothed my disphoria and almost eliminated a constant desire to smoke, which used to give some relief from disphoria by the cost of some agitation. I can not say that I am happy and healthy now, but I am pretty functional and can continue to recover. I know it will be a hard time to come off Venlafaxine and Gabapentine, but it is still better than constant disphoria.

Reglan used to be my goto for nasty hangover nausea.. but I thought they took it off the market in the US years ago.

Vertigo. I have it, but not Meniers disease. Here in the US, we must be our own patient advocates. From diagnosis to research to monitoring to cures. Our health care system is a disaster as is our health insurance marketplace. Simple colds or flu turn into SARS or COVID. It's pathetic.

I worked in hospitals for years and it seemed like every patient was on Reglan back in the day..... I don't remember being taught that it screws with your dopamine.

Just like tardive dyskinesia is not dependent on dose or length of treatment with antipsychotics, and can be permanent even after only a few doses, Reglan is basically the same type of drug with the same risk. The longer you take it after side effects develop, the more likely it will become permanent. Reglan should be used only for situations where gastric emptying is the primary issue, and should never be given for other causes of nausea or vomiting. Especially when we have zofran available that works great for most people and with a much more acceptable side effect profile

They gave me reglan 4 weeks ago at the emergency room. I took it once and it got me depressed. I jus saw this video . I also tried zofran for nausea and it also got me depressed. I was on antidepressants 20 years and i stopped them in 5 days. Ive been off of them 3.3 years. I still struggle. I stay away from alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fried foods.

I was given Reglan in my IV directly after surgery several years ago. I have restless legs syndrome and after that one dose, my RLS went through the roof. It lasted for several hours, but I feel very lucky that it eventually stopped. At the time, I had no idea that this drug caused such problems. I list it on my "allergy" list so that I never receive it again.

Interesting Mirtazapine helped me quite a bit with that type of stuff, its the only antidepressant that wasnt stimulating/activating for me..

I was hospitalised with a rare condition and treated like a junkie. I thought I would be put on a drip feed of morphine but they took me off everything. No point trying to describe it cos you couldn't even imagine and I wouldn't want you to but I remember Xmas day the pain started and in the middle of February I remember taking an oxynorm that I had kept for to chill on a sunny day and that day I found a position I was comfortable in and didn't have to toss and turn from. I had been constantly tossing and turning since a month before. That was as bad as the pain. I get the same feeling coming off of Lyrica. You haven't slept in 2 days and your eyes are closing but you lie down and immediately get up. Bad . Big pharma CEO s are living the dream tho

Prozac causes LOTS of side effects! I ended up with Dystonia after starting Prozac. After taking it for a few short months I ended up with the spasms in my neck muscles that lasted for almost 20 years. It slowly resolved with Botox and, maybe, just time for my brain to heal. It’s so sad to hear your story. May you heal completely soon!

How do you feel about black seed oil? I have been thinking about trying it for years. Yesterday I received it, and even with my Xanax I was a mess. I thought it was a placebo effect, but read testimonies, and it works for others. I only took one dose, but I’m feeling optimistic. The inner tremors got better as well

I just came across channel… I’d love to know which country he was in while he dealt with Menieres and the med. injury. I am shocked that anyone is still giving this garbage to people, in ER setting or outside setting. I am so sorry, as I have dealt with ALL of this, including MENIERES! My Menieres was SO debilitating I got dependent on Vicodin from the headaches, and full pressure in ears, etc. then got pregnant with my Son and dealt with extreme morning/day sickness. Due to already having dealt with migraines, I had tried the Compazine - 1st time for ER migraine. Instantly, my body was trembling, sweating, i felt like bugs under my skin. I got up shoved my mom and nurse, ripped the IV out if my arm and started booking out the hospital. They stopped me and injected the Benadryl. Luckily the Dr, and RNs knew it was a symptomatic / allergy response, and was told to never take Compazine, Reglan/ basically any antinausea meds. I was able to handle IV, or Sublingual Zofran only! It is NO JOKE! Neither is Menieres, and other GI issues that cause nausea. I beg everyone to research any and ALL medication, and only take whats absolutely imparritive… God Bless you all..

Isotretinoin leads to akathesia which has led to suicide up to 10 years post treatment. We know that isotretinoin causes sexual dysfunction as does SSRIs but I feel that many other drugs must be doing the same thing but Shane is keeping victims quiet.

I went to A&E with severe vomiting and was prescribed what I thought was an anti sickness drug. Because of my experience with isotretinoin and lack of trust in doctors and drugs I never took the meds. It was only several days later that my daughter found the packet and asked me who was taking antipsychotics and I realised that was what I had been prescribed 😮😮
