I mean that's not true though, if something is literally wrong it doesn't matter who is using it, it's just wrong. Sure, certain products might work for some and not others, but when it comes to something being just wrong then it's just wrong! And also you say the proof is in her skin as if skin just depends on skincare and not genetics- her genetics and hormones are obviously in her favour, so yeah even if she's doing something wrong it'll look good

There are actually certain things people do their skin that is horrible for every skin type. The reason you can’t always see the effects right away is because they can afford to get work done. Also a lot of the effects are more long-term and you don’t notice them until years later.

why does everyone in the comment section always think that they are dermatologists.. just let the girl use what she wants to use.. y'all are being so dramatic

Clary Fray or we can learn to be responsible consumers and stop buying products just for the sake of buying things. Like she has a cleansing oil that is non-irritating so why use wipes? She literally leaves a cleansing product on her face without washing it off. Also most products today contain HA, why buy a separate serum for that? We should learn to be more consumer-responsible
@heymynameislin31444 жыл бұрын
@@TheAydish i get what you are trying to say but at the end of the day it's her decision. If it works for her, which it clearly does, i mean look at her skin, then let her use it. She has the money to buy the products, why should she buy drugstore stuff then? She still uses neutrogena wipes which are pretty cheap so she has a balance of different products. It is not our decision to make what kind of products other people use. If she wants to use makeup wipes, why shouldn't she? Yes, maybe they aren't the best for the skin but she should feel free to use whatever she wants to use.

Clary Fray i think most people are commenting to educate others using her as an example. we’re well aware she won’t see or take any of our advice, it’s mostly for the benefit of the audience

Clary Fray your skin may look fine now but you’ll regret it when your skin gets saggy way earlier because you used the wrong products

She seems really nice, and I enjoyed her routine and comments about taking time for yourself! I do hope, though, that people don't make comments about their "OCD kicking in" if they don't actually have it. OCD is not perfectionism and is often so misrepresented. Not hating on her, though. Overall, this was a nice and interesting video!

From a Dermatologist - i just want to say this for everyone watching this and thinking about doing what she does: PLEASE DO NOT USE MAKEUP WIPES! THEY ARE SO BAD FOR THE ENVIRONMENT! AND DONT TOUCH THE DROPPER FROM A SERUM OR OIL BOTTLE TO YOUR FACE BECAUSE YOU WILL GET BACTERIA INTO THE BOTTLE AND ONTO YOUR FACE!
@anoushkab10794 жыл бұрын
Cate H Just use a cleansing balm or cleansing oil to remove your makeup and then follow up with a water based cleanser. Makeup wipes produce so much waste and they are one of the most harmful beauty products for the environment. Also they cause premature aging and wrinkles in your epidermis due to the pulling motions.

Cate H I hope yk that they damage your skin to the gods and don’t even takeoff all the makeup

arcitcwolfAJ makeup wipes are, on average, more expensive than cleansers (including cleansing oils to remove makeup) from the same brands...

Cate H they will make you wrinkle and the wipes are made of plastic which never goes away in the environment . Please try something else especially 5 packs a month . Couldn’t imagine how much waste your putting in the oceans :(

For those that want to know, Hyloronic Acid is fantastic for keeping your skin hydrated. You apply it right after washing your face and it helps lock in moisture (it can hold up to 1,000X it's weight in water). If you don't want to use this pricey option, The Ordinary has a great one, along with Neautrogena Gel Boost has it. Vitamin C is great for skin brightening and protecting against free radicals in the air, so it's actually better to use it in the morning to protect your skin. However, if you want all of these types of miracle components in just one product, you're best to incorporate a retinoid into your routine. Retinoids (not retinol, which is low potency over the counter option that's not as effective) is a higher concentration of Vitamin A. Vitamin A has proven to be the gold standard in skin care. It is the quickest at increasing your skin cell turnover rate, which means it helps prevent acne, fine lines, builds collegian, protects against sun cancer, etc. It's prescription only (though differin gel is not available over the counter in the U.S, which is just a different form of it). If you do get a prescription for this, apply a small, pea sized amount on dry skin (after washing your face) at night 2-3 times a week. You may experiencing purging (your skin is pushing all the junk that was going to break you out to the service) but it's so worth it. Your skin will be clear, soft, less redness and pigmentation, less wrinkles, etc. But the best thing you can do for your skin is apply sunscreen. ALWAYS wear it. Here's a successful routine: + Cleanser (something basic, like Cerve, La Roche Possey, Cetaphil, etc) + Sunscreen in the AM + Retinoid (like Tretinoin) + Moisturizer (same brands as above) While I think Dove goes a bit heavy on the oils, which can cause irritation in some, but overall her skincare routine is very solid. No, I am not a dermatologist. I'm just someone that has done a lot of research on active ingredients, what's worth it, what isn't. You should never spend a ton of money on sunscreen, cleanser, or moisturizer, because they're almost all the same. Cerve is a GREAT brand often suggested by Derm's. Most of your skincare budget should go in serums or actives.

Dove's skin is absolutely the most dreamy creamy glowing skin ever. Its clean, clear and really glows. So, if that's really her skincare routine is working for her. So y'all should stop bitching about it. Too bad makeup wipes doesn't work for you or tgat you breakout for everything.
