SPOILERS Not that I would ever not read a card, but I realized after watching this that I mega-cheated using the World's effect, since I previously special summoned that turn. I don't think it would have mattered; I could have summoned Priestess instead, popped Chidori, hit for 2500. MBT has Cyber Harpie, I can pop that next turn and attack for another 2500, then he draws Dragon and I win regardless. Come to think of it...I think he also used both Hysteric Sign effect in one turn...HMMMM.......

MBT played Hysteric Party incorrectly game 2. You can only use 1 effect of sign per turn. So if you add egotist, you cant add 3 at the end phase in the same turn

Ah! My 2014 deck! Best moment was vs an Infernity player that set 5, set a monster, set a field spell, passed. And then I wiped his board with Hunting Ground, Dancer & Chidori. Hell, in that tourney I even played against Prophecy. One Anti-Spell later and that was a win easily wrapped up. 2:02 Actually Hysteric Party was added to the Harpie lineup during GX with the Lord of the Storms Structure deck. It's just nobody cared, as Harpies were still awful then.

honestly, back then, I tried harpies and just bin the idea of Card Car D altogether, and just run 1 Tempest. It's so easy to spawn this sucker, Normal summon Channeler, spawn Pet Dragon, and just make a Rank 7 (usually big eye or sack). Then the remaining Channeler can be another material for a elegant egotist that you can spawn for for a Rank 4, which has some excellent choices at this point, Exciton, ARK, Chidori, and they mix quite well.

Ok, so I dunno if anyone caught this one misplay, but in game 3 Cimo was not allowed to activate the effect of -Za warudo- World of prophecy, because he had previously special summoned a monster that turn (Temperance of Prophecy) and the World states that you cannot special summon other monsters *period* during the turn you activate it's effect. That one was an illegal action that definetly might have affected the outcome of the game due to how much advantage he gained off of it.

Been playing Harpie Tri-Brigade in master duel and...hysteric sign is still insane in 2022. Send it to proc double dragon lords on the opponents turn and casually go +3 with a feather storm to guarantee your combo goes through. Insane.

I knew MBT was gonna misuse Hysteric Sign the moment he revealed he was playing Harpies. Being one of the first cards with a one effect per turn and only once per turn means that this is probably a pretty common occurrence for new Harpie players, but it also makes it very painful to watch because of just how noticeable it is for anyone who's ever actually read Hysteric Sign

my first competitive deck was harpies. it was really fun to play adn shockingly most aof he cards were similar to what i used to play. i did have some pice by laying dragunity darkspear which is really good by tributing itself to bring back a winged beast. also works well with channeler making her a 7 the yiu can go into a synchro 10. also too, you cannot trigger both effects of hysteric sign in the same turn, its the last sentence of the card since he searched egotist

Illegal actions: 13:30 MBT shuffles back Harpie Channeler that was banished off of Spell Book of Fate. Did it matter? You could argue that it lowered the chances of drawing something else. 18:13 MBT uses Diamond Dire Wolf to pop Hysteric Sign to get the 3 search effect, you cannot use both effects in the same turn, so this should have done nothing. Did it matter? MBT could have just activated that DDW effect the next turn if he already had the Solemn to stop the summon of Cimo's monster. Although, with the deck thinned by 3 more due to this it's likely he had a higher chance to see it... I didn't notice anything else. At least Cimo won the match, it'd be worse if he lost due to the above. But hey, accepted game state and all.

Unfortunately the episode was of lower quality this time. Other that MBT's double Hysteric Sign effect and shuffling back the banished Harpie, Cimo kept his field spell in game 1 after MBT used Hunting Ground and, most importantly, could not activate Temperance's effect due to him being reborn as a level 5 by Spellbook of life. MBT should have had this one. This was very hard to catch tho if they got to practice with the decks only for few hours

I'm not sure if this ban list that you're playing under has the rulers band, but a lot of versions of the deck played tempest to further the rank 7 pool. You also saw this deck playing symbols of heritage as a monster. Reborn and even divine wind of Mist valley because You can use dancer to trigger it and you have three rotas for dancer. I'm not sure if this is the deck that got that field spelled banned, but I know it was played in this deck.

I can understand divine wind not being that great after getting hit on something, but your arguments invalid to obvious extensions. Also I wasn't critiquing the deck building, I was just commenting that other builds played these cards. I understand this is the build that topped. That doesn't change the fact that there are other versions that saw success using different cards.

Joseph made an illegal move in game 2. You can only activate 1 effect of Hysteric Sign per turn, so getting Egotist was his 1 effect per turn, and he couldn't activate the Graveyard effect that turn.

Joseph cheated at 18:12 when he popped the hysteric sign in order to get the search off of hystreric sign. The popping of the hysteric sign was legal, but he can not search at the end phase as he had already used the search elegant egotist effect and you can only use one of those effects in the same turn. So good job MBT............
