America in its infancy was basically a place to send undesirables to colonize it. Australia was the same premise except it was just supposed to be a prison island rather than a colonization attempt. Australian love potato chips and beer, just like Americans, they just talk a little different, and drive on the other side of the road.

@@docstruthers Hey Justin the 6cyl motor you're most likely referring to came out in late 2002 in a new model Falcon codenamed BA. The motor is called a Barra,an aboriginal name . The motor also came with a more than effective Turbo option. Over the next decade plus till 2016 when aust Ford cease production of vehicles ,the development of this motor was an absolute weapon. The aftermarket build / tuning potential has street cars with up to 1000-1200hp !!! Running sub 10sec qtrs. I have heard that there are current orders from America to aust to purchase ,freight bk to America to install in enthusiasts vehicle's. That's how good this motor is in its development and design. I appreciate it.. But I am strictly a V8 Man all the way Born n bred.!☝👍💪 muscle all the way

I have this 7.3L Godzilla motor in my 2020 F-350 Lariat. It's the reason I traded in my 2019 F-250 (6.2L). I wanted that new 445CI (7.3L) Ford conventional push rod motor bad! Well I have it and I'm loving it! (I don't know about going the supercharger route with mine but it sure is nice to know you COULD go that route, if you chose to). No overhead cam stuff going on here. Push rod motor and I LOVE the 6 bolt mains! 430HP and 475 LBS Feet of Torque from the factory! Love it.

NA with a cam will see you past 480/500kW (just look at those ports😁.) With loads of torque for that hole shot to pull fat bastards out of the water or move around 2tonnes of wake balast. Go supercharged and use river water for the working fluid and boom. 700-800kw

@@fastec5 I know part # M-6007-73 Ford Racing you can pick it up intake to oil pan right now 6999.00 !! Only thing is it makes 430hp @ 5500rpm & 475 lb ft tq @ 4000 with 2 yr warranty. You'd have to add a custom cam heads and intake plus exhaust to reach 600hp plus the added weight of a 7.3 l vs 351w and size difference.

@@mccranahan747 would a 351W be a cheaper build...and no engine clearance issues.

@@benwalker4660 your looking at about 2 inches wider on the 445ci valve cover to valve cover about 2 in taller deck and 2.5 inches in difference where the actual engine sits in the k member. Im sure you would need some extra parts or fabrication. You would definitely want a aftermarket k member with the 351w or a 445 for ease of working on things. The strut towers in say a foxbody could be very tight. As far as cheaper to build you can buy the 7.3 from Ford Racing right now for 6999.00 with a 2 year warranty. If you did all but machine work it woud cost you about the same.

Wonder what boost level will get the rings in trouble? Best place for this donk, would be a GT40 clone.

Love it. Just let's hope the vct doesn't come back and bite the owners in the ass like the others have. But it can be locked out. Not to mention the oil pump drive chain. This the only new ford engine I would consider swapping my 460 with.

Atm I'm looking at a rebuild on my boss 260 if I have damaged my bearings, no one does a stock rebuild on a V8, I love my quad cams, every second hand coyote and miami is worth more than this new godzilla according to the wreckers, godzilla is all modular bellhousing and coyote flywheel and I want to use my car for drifting and any Motorsports, seems like a good replacement option

If it's as good as they say, it's like an ls, but better. Didn't know it'd bolt on a v8 falcon 😉

@@andrewlace the engine mounts and oil pan probably wont bolt in, but the transmission and clutch stuff will work, starter motor is unknown to me though
