Babicka Fantastica yeah, one of the more interesting aspects to Harry Potter(both the books and the movies) is that with each year and new book or movie, the story grows slightly more mature and serious , literally growing up with the kids reading or watching them. A 9 year old reading/watching sorcerers/philosophers stone is almost an adult by the time the final chapter came out. It prevented kids from deciding they were getting too old for Harry Potter 3 or 4 years in. Quite clever really.

I grew up watching these movies. I’m so excited that you guys are doing this series. I can’t wait till it all comes together in the end and to hear your final thoughts on the series. Each movie gets darker and darker, and more mature. It kind of grows with the characters. That’s what I love about the series. I watch the first movie when I was 11 years old. So I literally grew up with the characters. This is my favorite movie series and I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions. I absolutely love your channel, you guys always make me smile. RJG Gotta disagree. It was a pretty enjoyable foray into an entirely different side of this universe. And there's not exactly a whole lot of room for as much character depth as HP yet considering they're only one movie into it so far. And some certain scenes towards the end are genuinely tear jerking. I got more invested into those characters than i thought I could in just one movie.

I thought Fantastic Beasts was a bit cheesy. Let's not even talk about Cursed Child. That one was like a horrible fanfiction. I really wanted them to be good, but neither really lived up to HP. Fantastic Beasts was good, but terms like "nomag" were really poorly chosen.

Ehhh it was okay. When judging it as a movie seperate from Harry Potter it is quite good, rather slow, but good. However, I went into it thinking it would be almost as good as harry potter which left me at the end pretty dissapointed lol. The second fantastic beasts looks much better!

Tyler Z I don't enjoy the main character forever being overly awkward and overly vulnerable. As a protagonist he doesn't grow enough and remains passive throughout. That runs counter to him being expelled for protecting beasts and having a past relationship. He has strong beliefs, he broke rules to maintain those beliefs, he was romantically involved; still he never gets angry and can't spit out a sentence to a woman. Kowalski was more interesting as comedic relief. He was relatable and had a better story for his journey. Was it the rain bit that got you? Because that feeling was for the dopey character. I get it's groundwork to layer on, but the series of events and screenplay didn't sit well with me. If you watch it back they often have a character explaining what's happening and the consequences instead of just showing the audience. It was pronounced enough to notice it a lot. I believe it's Rowling's first time screen writing and the scenes felt disconnected by what I described above. There was plenty of good but the many things that bugged me made it just an okay film. I'll rewatch it and see if the taste it left was correct. I imagine the next ones will blow it out of the water.

They've touched on racism, self harm (Dobby punishing himself for speaking ill of his family), and grooming in this story. Last time I watched this movie with my friends one of them commented 'Grooming' when we get to the scene with the diary (Tom writing back "But I can show you."). And at first I was shocked but then I realised that it actually makes sense if you've read the book. In the book we find out how Tom gained that control over Ginny, he said that she'd been writing down all of her troubles and even though he (Tom) found it boring, he was 'patient, kind, sympathetic' and wrote back to her, letting her think that he was a real friend, one who understood her like no-one else. She 'put a bit of her soul' into the diary and that made him strong enough to take over her. She'd just wake up and not have any idea of what she'd been doing the last few hours.

It took me a long time to watch the harry potter movies.. I just watched them last September before my first trip to universal orlando. I binge watched all 8 films over 3 days. My favorite movie was the prizoner of azkaban, my favorite characters were luna and hermione, ginny to an extent, and hagrid of course! I absolutely couldnt stand dobby even though most people love him.

Azkaban is my favorite book and movie because of the time travel. Also, Doby may have been annoying but he was so brave till the end. You have to love him for that.

When I was a kid first seeing this in theaters when it came out, I already wasn't a big fan of spiders, specifically tarantulas, but seeing giant spiders, despite knowing they were animatronic and fake in the film, I grew a more uncomfortable uneasiness with spiders from then on. I would go out of my way to rid a spider if it's near my personal space or room.

You know, I recently saw that video where you guys asked which Film Franchise to watch next. I'll be honest, I completely forgot to give my vote, but the fact you decided it was going to be Harry Potter has honestly made me day, week, month and so far, my year. Lol. I was never really into Lord of the Rings to be honest. But the Hunger Games, Planet of the Apes, and Star War Franchises are all really good. You guys should defintley watch them. But I have to be to honest here. I saw you guys taking a vote and I forgot, but when logged on and I saw that you guys have chosen the Harry Potter Franchise, and saw that an reaction to Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was uploaded. You guys have no idea the amount of euphoria and pure happiness that came over me. I am SO EXCITED to watch these reactions. Side Note: I remember loving Harry Potter so much that when I was like 10 years old, I asked my Mom for a wand and clear lens glasses just praying an Owl was going to dropping off my letter to Hogwarts. I even had my Mom draw a lightning bolt scar on my forehead everyday before I went to school. At that age I didn't't realize that these were fiction and Hogwarts along with harry, Ron and Hermione do not exist. But my Mom was so amazing that innstead of telling me Hogwarts and everything wasn't real, she kept playing a long with me. She would drive hours to get me a wand, Gryffindor clothing, and she even took the time EVERY SINGLE DAY, to draw that lightning bolt scar on my forehead. Just because she didn't want to ruin my imagination. She's gone now but the fact that I get to watch reactions to Harry Potter with you guys means more to me than you know. I love you channel and thank you for helping me remind myself how amazing my Mom was. I gotta go now, I have some of your Harry Potter reactions to get through. And i'm not talking about the Fair use Reactions that I usually watch. But I'm watching the full movie reactions because I have all 8 movies on my iTunes. Honestly, I man this. In case you don't know about the house elves (your comment about Dobby being so powerful) they ARE EXTREMELY powerful, that's WHY they have to be bound to families and\or magic places, Hogwarts. Their powerful can burn them out and kill them, however being bound to a family or say to Hogwarts gives them control over this by being able to use it in service to their masters.
