So happy you're back in tune with Silverstone/ICONIC auctions Harry. I love the detailed content appraisal. I had to unsubscribe from their (Silverstone) channel as they were pumping out lot videos for each item; but I really like the live auction block live feeds. I don't think they fully understand their KZbin audience. I'd love to see Harry, Harris, Catchpole, Jonny Smith and Neil Clifford/Manish Pandey reboot Top Gear.

The Giulia GTC was indeed a short-lived model, very rare. The 1570cc shared with the contemporary Giulia GT was the only engine option for the GTC, which didn't live long enough to get the smaller 1290cc or the bigger twin-cams later added to the GT range. But the car I'd buy from the auction is that Mille Miglia-eligible MGA. Always liked the model, and being able to do the Mille with it would be a huge bonus.

That viper GTS @ 50K in that condition is a great deal. That one is a keeper. She's a Gran Turismo generation poster car. 10-15 years and that's doubling in value at least.

Great video as always Harry! Ironically, the Minis were my favourites. Classic "go-karts" were you can enjoy full power without breaking speed limits is growing in demand. All my classic car-friends tell the same. They're not as interested anymore with the huge fast beasts.

Harry, your presentation is superb as usual, However...I am not sure whether you would wish to continue your association with this Auction house: I can't understand why Nick Whale has done this, unless there is something we are not being told: They have now messed-up not only the name from something truly 'Iconic' to a forgettable one, with a totally naff logo, and even the actual auction presentation on YT is worse: Low definition visuals, No video intro of the lot as they start each one, with no title of the lot in progress, and they even messed up the actual bidding on a couple of lots (having dropped the usual excellent auctioneer Johnathan Humbert for some reason?) including botching the bidding on the silver Ferrari 456, - what on earth has happened to these guys? There was none of the usual buzz in the sale room, and they also seemed to fail to sell a record number of the cars, looked like a bit of a disaster! The entertainment value of watching their auctions is totally gone. Such a shame...how to mess up & destroy a winning formula! 😖

The Porsche 914 is probably held back in value by the VW association, but I agree they are hugely undervalued. Had the pleasure of filming one racing at Cadwell Park recently, and it looked great on track.

You should definitely add a Mini Cooper S to your collection Harry and that mint '68 model with just 21k on the clock is a sound investment. Ideally a Mk1 would be better. A friend of mine parted with his concours winning Mk1 1071 S in Primrose Yellow with white roof (extremely rare colours) for £16k........and that was back in the mid 1980s!

That Lister Le Mans is a hero car indeed! I remember poring over Performance Car as a child and this was one of my all time favourites. Pretty sure those are Lister Storm design alloys. Also, that E-Type seems a bit steep at £1 - 1.25 billion 😂

The 2016 Super Snake is just a modified S550 and not worth what they are asking (frankly, it is utter garbage). The proper S550 Shelby's are the GT350 (track pack) and the GT350R.
