Jokes aside, I think one of my least favorite parts of these games (which I genuinely enjoy otherwise) is the fact that doing a good job and catching the anomalies in time means you don't get to see a lot of the cool, weird, scary stuff. I was also really curious as to what would happen if you just let the distortion in the subway tunnel play out, but my guess is it would have lead to a game over. I just think a horror game shouldn't get less scary and interesting the better you're doing in it, is all.
@Goldenkitten12 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I really like the idea of this game but watching this was like watching someone play a "Spot the Difference" puzzle in the newspaper for 50 minutes. To be an effective horror game things need to build up, it's perfectly fine that all you're getting is missing/added objects and screen/painting differences but at a certain point you have to dial things up. Sure, having a man in the hallway or whatever is extremely obvious but the fear comes from having them become more common and speeding up your demise while you *still* have to keep an eye out for smaller changes. I think this could really be something special if they focused on quality over quantity in the number of games and locations.

I think this fixed cam format is stronger than the "run around an environment" format they did for one of the past games, but the kinds of scares are the same.
