Haruna was recently at a New Year party with a large group of other drummers in Tokyo. Parties like that, with musicians who play the same instrument or are from the same area of the country, are common in Japan, especially in Tokyo. Haruna was hanging with other female drummers like Mari of Mary's Blood (Haruna's old band Destrose often played shows with MB), Yuri of Gacharic Spin, and Mizuki of East of Eden. Hidehiro, who does tech support for Lovebites and has played drums on Asami's Christmas shows, was one of the organizers of the party. (I've met Hidehiro several times and am acquainted with a couple of the drummers who were at the party, but don't play drums and wouldn't have gotten an invite if I did.) Not directly connected to this reaction, but some news for the Wolfpack.

This song was released at the time of the original bassist, Miho, leaving the band and therefore was the last LOVEBITES song she played on. This performance is the first opportunity for them to play it live and features new bassist Fami. The original MV of this song is like a montage of their first 5 years and worth seeing.

This song was written at the time Miho announced her departure from the band. It was heartbreaking to all of them because the band was so tight and Miho was the leader and founder of the band. They held several meetings in an attempt to convince Miho to stay, but eventually gave in and allowed her to go her own way. So the Nameless warrior in this song is Miho, the former bassist. It was written as a tribute to her. The darkness that Asami speaks of is how the rest of the band members felt at the time - a dark future of what would happen to Lovebites now. Asami says her destiny is to fight and to go forward, stepping (proceeding) into her enemies the only way they know how - (by taking time off and then returning when the time is right to find a new bass player). She sings of the memories, the good memories of Miho, how they will never let them go and never forget her. She sings of looking for the light of the future that she knows is somewhere but at the time they don't see it. The future looks dark but they will push on, never surrender, knowing that better times are ahead. That is what the song is about.

Haruna with her (4'9"; 1.45m) height is a real energy bomb. One of the best drummers in the world today. His uniqueness comes from the fact that he uses his hands a lot to play the toms and cymbals. He often follows the rhythm of the guitars with his hands, only using the bass drum to bring the basic rhythm. A real curiosity. Perhaps only Aquiles Priester uses his hands as much as he does.

The music video for "Nameless Warrior" was uploaded after LOVEBITES officially announced that they would be going on hiatus in the fall of 2021 and that the band's founder and leader, Miho (bass), would be leaving the band. The video depicted their footsteps from their first stage to Live in Tokyo in 2021, and furthermore, the video had a strong message of "We will be back". It must have been deeply moving for them to be able to perform this song at this revival concert.

The lyrics are correct. When Lovebites writes their songs Asami (primarily) writes them in Japanese and then they (with some help from translators) translate them to English. The problem is that the syllables don't always match up with the notes when they do it this way because a word in Japanese could have a different number of syllables than the same word in English. Hence they have to choose a different word to fit the meter of the song (rather than changing the music). So often the word choices may not be grammatically correct. You will see this in several of their songs.

I also suspect (in my opinion) that due to the circumstances at the time, since Miho was leaving, and the band was going on hiatus, they may not have had the same amount of time or opportunity to devote to the creation of this song as ones in the past.

The MV of this song is basically about the end of a chapter and (hopefully) the beginning of a new era at that time (Miho had just announced that she left the band and the future of the band was uncertain). Fortunately they decided to move on (in my opinion, they still had so much to offer)

This song is dedicated to Miho and is tail about their story from the begining to the 2021. The others Lovebites 's members are knew with the name: Asami, Miyako, Tomori and Haruna, but Miho with the family name, because the name is Rosana. So, when she go out the Lovebites they made this song to the Warrior nameless!
