tbh it’s not. your gpa doesn’t account for your major, course rigor, intensity, extracurriculars, personality, strengths and weaknesses, and financial support level above all else. college admission is a stupid start to a piece of paper that will decide your future
@hi1054
@hi1054 Жыл бұрын
@@ethancollinsworth3927 who said gpa accounts for your major, course rigor, intensity(course rigger and intensity are literally the same thing 💀💀), etc. Are you aware that they can see the kinds of classes you took? Including whether it was AP or not, and what kind of class, such as finance, or cooking. You're supposed to display y our personality through your application. How can you call yourself persistent if they don't see that in your application? How can you call yourself hard working if it doesn't even show in what you did? You're one of those kids that aren't accepting that this is fact.
@khangvinh4656
@khangvinh4656 6 ай бұрын
@@hi1054 that would true back then but nowadays, college favors ethnicity over hardworking. I know this through applying to colleges with 3.98 GPA with multiples AP on the sides. It’s mostly boil down to whether or not your parents has attend a good college, nationality, and honor societies (majorities are just trying to get a subscription out of you) rather than GPA alone. I got offered a spot at a honor society but reaching them was impossible unless you are already paying them money so I just ended up going in-state.
@hi1054
@hi1054 6 ай бұрын
@@khangvinh4656 it doesn't "mostly boil down to whether or not your parrnts ha[ve][attended] a good college, nationality, [or] honors societ[y]" it has to do with your gpa, extra curriculars, just how you display yourself. Legacy is a small percentage of students. Ethnicity matters, but how can you make an excuse if for example let's say you're asian and the school takes 20% asians. That means, 20% of asian applicants were better than you, so don't tell me you were fit.

Maybe it's not 600/day for each. Let's check: 57,000, 600/day. If there was only one person doing all that, it would be all finished in 57000/600 - 5400 95 days 300 - 300 Yep, that's about 3 months. So, if there are 10 admissions officers, each one would go through 600/10 applications per day, so "only" 60 apps per day. 60 × 15min = 900 minutes, so... 15 hours a day... ok, i don't know how many admission officers there are, but i hope i helped!
