Clivias were one of my Mum's favourites. Now I'm into gardening! Thank you for your excellent video!

Dear friend, many moons ago I had little or no interest in clivias even when they had been around me. However now they are one of my favorite plants simply because I never noticed that they played an important part in my garden. For many years I had an ugly shady spot in my garden where are rarely gave much attention and ignored till I notice a brilliant splash of color from plants a friend had given me. Happy to say it has changed my opinion and made me appreciate how fortunate one's friends are and the special memories that flowers bring. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much for the wonderful video Manie. I never thought of doing it this way...currently I have only 1 stalk and it seems the riping process is taking a little longer. I think I may not have fertilized it enough since I've had the plant. Still learning and it's my 1st mature plant I have. Looking forward to getting my seeds from you that I purchased in March 🙂

G’day Manie from Oz… love your videos and enthusiasm. I don’t have the netlon but do you think an old stocking would work? Thanks Justin

I harvested the berries before they colored up. Currently they are green. Will they change color in time?

Why didn’t you let it dry on plant instead of cutting and hang dry?

How do I know when to harvest the berries?

Brother, is there a chance of the flowers turning out a slightly different colour if planted from the berry of the mother plant, rather than through the offshoots? Please answer 🙏

If the plant has been pollinated with a different color plant the color will differ but if it has been pollinated by it self it will be a exact clone.

@@hansieveldsman8553 Thank you, so it would pay to not have a variety of colours too close to each other. If like tomatoes about 4 - 5 feet away at least. I have moonglow, a pale lemon which I adore and want to save this colour. Bought in memory of one of my dogs.
