Hi guys... No Mocking No bullshit just an opinion.. i am from the Midlands & have seen Madders at Coventry & Leicester. i have observed it... and heard from Cov and Leicester fans over the years. Madders is very arrogant & that's my opinion.... and when your manager is similar in terms of personality.. i think that's the reason here. i have seen Madders throw his toys out of his pram at Leicester, and refused to iron things out..... thinks high of himself. if you read it similar to me.... i think they have had a heated discussion... in dressing rooms over time. and now ANGE can't be arsed with him. IMO

I think Levy sits there on match day, looks around a packed WHL and thinks what a bunch of mugs, paying top money for your tickets and being served up as cheap a team as i can get away with. Investing in youth for the future so he can sell them on for a profit as soon as their value goes up and not for their football value. Our players dont help by saying we learn from our mistakes and move on, then make the same mistakes over and over again.

If you look back to the first training day video the club put out at the start of the season, Madders was the only player under-cutting his lines and jogging through while everyone else was running and over-running their lines.

He had a couple good games last season. Apart from that he is just an everage player. Its not a coincidence all previous and current national managers didnt pick him. Ange sees him in training everyday, he knows best about James. In my opinion he doesnt provide any quality ball despite of his good stats. His assist in the game against westham is a good example, he just passed the ball to Kulu. Kulu had to make some space himself to be able to shoot. Furthermore he is also not a team player. In many occasions he wanted to compete with Son to take shots, argued with Bissouma/Porro to take freekicks,etc.. Overall he just isnt good and didnt help the team. Its only fair to bench him.

Pride comes before the fall. Ange has history with issues when it comes to strong-minded players. Madders is not the first. Please allow me to set the scene during the Celtic days. Ange joins Celtic, gets Kyogo Furuhashi (Kyogo) and Liel Abada and things slowly start happening. Then Jota (Celtic Jota, not Liverpool Jota). Then more Japanese players. One player he managed to get for a bargain was Greek international Giorgios Giakoumakis (GG). A brute of a striker, was nicknamed "chaos" because he caused chaos in opposition defences. Rangers absolutely hated him because he bodied them. Kyogo and GG ended up being joint top scorers in Scotland that first season when Ange took over the reigns. Yes, Kyogo did a great job initially but he got injured and GG stepped up. Without GG Celtic would not have won the league in Ange's first season. Kyogo recovers from injury and gets preferential treatment from Ange. Why? I do not know, probably because of Ange's Japanese connection. GG is treated as second class citizen. Kyogo is badly out of form but gets the starts. GG comes on with like 10 minutes to go but scores goals (hence why he got equal top scorer considering less playing time). Eventually it all comes to a head. GG has enough and confronts Ange. Basically Ange is pig--headed. He has his favourites. Kyogo would always be preferred to GG regardless of performance. GG has enough, considering he is the in-form player and also considering his lower salary he decides to leave for the US. Totally idiotic move by Ange. I thought he would have learnt by now but this will be his downfall. This is not the Australian, Japanese or Scottish league. But in the process, he will amass life-changing wealth, so does he care? This is just one example. There were issues with other players as well. Interesting someone recently mentioned Brighton getting Matt O'Reilly from Celtic. Matt was a player that Ange bought whilst at Celtic. Matt made it clear he preferred Brendan Rogers' managerial style in interviews. I hope he adapts but I don't see it happening.

As a long time Ange supporter, I have to reluctantly agree with your views, especially regarding Giakoumakis at Celtic. Maybe at the higher level comps, Ange is struggling to motivate the big egos of the top millionaire players. Or there's a clash of egos. Or it may not be egos. It may be mental fortitude. But it's only my view. I'm not a sports psychologist but I've followed other Aussie sports like Rugby League and Australian Rules Football and I've been lucky to have observed how coaches with different personalities and experience successfully turn potential losses staring them in their faces to last gasp victories. Whatever the problem, I'm hoping that Ange can fix it.

guys we are talking about "our poor form" when in reality our results are a statistical anomaly. our underlying numbers are strong, VERY STRONG. all things revert to the mean. overperforming teams will fall and underperforming teams (us) will rise. even looking at the actual points on the table, we are 3 pts from 3rd. usually a good metric to measure the strength of a team is GD and ours is the 2nd best in the league. some of our defence has been sloppy and individual errors don't help, and i know it's hard to see all of this after an incredibly disappointing performance, but we have put in some incredible performances this season and there is plenty more to come. trust in big ange, mate

The trouble with the EPL is that too many games requires to chopping and changing the team too much . After a couple of good games a settled team can't be achieved because you have to rotate the team . So Madders might have had a lesser game after a win so he is relegated to the bench . And other players are too after a win. You disturb a winning combination . In the olden days you only disturbed a winning team because of injuries,now you rotate because of the jam-packed fixtures . So players' forms vary. All of them. You picked on Madders,you could pick on any of them . I think Madders should be first choice starter. I feel we need to choose our shooting moments better, like get into position...bluff a shot if closed down too much, commit players into blocking the bluff then recycle the ball back into a wide position, send runners through the middle where the ball watchers have vacated and let them get their head onto it. Too many times we have smashed the ball into a wall of player hoping power will get through but I almost never does. I'd love to see more intricate intelligent playing happening, more back heels, more flicks, more fakes more dummies, more nutmegs.

This is very simple to understand when he was at Leicester Claudio and Rodgers never had to tell him to drop deep because he is a number 10 the dirty work was done with two pivots from Tielemans and Ndidi. I don't know who is telling him to drop deep to start the play if it's ange or himself but he needs to stay up at the 10 spot he needs to create chances and that is not going to happen if he has to drop so deep for us to push forward. We are playing well against the best sides, that’s a cause for optimism. Nobody seems to want to take into account that nearly our whole team (regardless of who started) traveled the 4500km round trip to Istanbul 3 days before the Ipswich game. You only have to be a couple of percent off your game to be vulnerable to any other team in the League. We have injuries which are limiting our rotations and a very intense brand of football that is stressing our players to their limit. We have a lot deeper pool of players who Ange trusts to play his style this season, but many are still coming up to speed in terms of the style and fitness levels required, and we are still several players short of the quality and type of players he needs. I believe as the squad matures and we gain some more key players in the next couple of transfer windows, we will become the mature, consistent, high quality side we all want to see. But that takes time. In the meantime, we are still in the mix for 3 trophies and a top 3 in the League 11 games in. And people want Ange out?

Alli and dier - 5m Toby and Jan - 12m Dembele/lloris/eriksen - 10-15m Walker, rose, kane - academy/signed young Son was actually the most expsneibe signing of the key poch era players at around 23m Even adjusting for today's prices these were still all bargains. Poch coached, improved and got the best out of players. Ange doesn't.

He makes mistakes and doesn't track back as well or press nearly as well as someone whose just converted to his position. He was purchased to be our 10, but has found himself being outshined by Deki by some level. I just don't see him evolving into someone that competes in so many aspects of the game like Deki either which is his biggest problem.

Against PALACE he was clattered into by that new CB they have. He was in agony rolling on the grass. Then when we took the free kick he started to run as usual which had the PALACE fans booing him He also almost scored v PALACE but Henderson made a superb save.
