Got a question, is there anything you would recommend doing to prevent the ALICE frame straps from slipping out of the top buckle, had that happen once due to not having enough strap coming out of the end of the buckle. I've since adjusted the straps so that more was coming out of the top buckles so that doesn't happen as easily, but I'm a bit worried about it coming loose over time while wearing it.

You can thread the extra strap/webbing back over and in the same spot it comes out of so it makes a loop, try to eyeball the right size loop for it to roll up inside tightly and snugly. Saw this on a general Alice frame (not proton pack) YT vid. No tape required so you can always readjust and do it again.

@@SpaceWizardCosplay i've seen it. Unmodified. It fits.
@sjmaguirepdx Жыл бұрын
Nice demonstration... I hate to nitpick but with the straps and kidney pad you used that's technically an LC-2 configuration and does not match the GB1 and GB2 look. The original LC-1 had a much narrower kidney pad without a quick release belt and the shoulder straps were also different. That said, your configuration is much more accurate to the afterlife frame.

The only thing that bothers me is that there are only 2 spacers included for the very bottom when there should be 4 in total. (2 more for the very top of the frame) But thank you, Jason, for showing us how it's done.
@noshotz5955 Жыл бұрын
The likely reason for that would be that to be able to put spacers at the top, you would need to modify the ALICE frame as there's no place to screw them in to.
