I appreciate your explanation so I can bring up some of these things to my PCP. I have every single symptom I've heard mentioned about Hashimoto's (and IBS) except for infertility, which I wouldn't really know if I have or not since I'm not trying for that. My TSH has been testing high for years and I've switched PCPs, this PCP tested for free T4 for the first time yesterday and now my TSH is of course showing high but my free T4 was within normal limits. So now I have a list of tests to ask for. Thank you ❤

What happens if you’re on Levothyroxine (100 mcg) but there are no changes to your TSH (11.42) and T4 (.62) levels for 6 months? At the same time (6 months) I quit eating all grains, only eat whole foods, no seed oils, nothing artificial or processed. Keep sugar use minimal. Purged my kitchen, toiletries, etc of all harmful things. Only drink filtered (Berkey) water. I’ve never drank, used drugs, or smoked. I am prescribed Vitamin D, and supplements include D3 and K. Diabetic but have taken glucose from 225 to 96, A1C from 9.7 to 6. Only other off thing is my Cortisol is low (5.5) after many years of it being high. My muscle tightness and back issues drastically improved, but I still have all the same usual symptoms you listed, I’m unable to lose weight, and labs won’t budge. Any suggestions??? Please, I’m desperate. I’m only 46 and feel 80. 😢 Thank you for any and all help!!

I don't know how you came up in my feed or why you came up in my feed. I was not looking up anything regarding this, but I've been dealing with this issue. Actively, for the last year, 3 endocrinologists, saying I'm fine because of the TSH my antibodies are at 18 and they keep telling me not to worry about it has my hair is falling out. I'm tired all the time. I've always been thin, but I put on 8 pounds. You hit home when you talked about food. I've been eating like crap for 62 years. I don't know how you fix that. How do I find someone like you to see and know that they know what they're talking about? And they're not just blowing smoke at my ass? Anyway, very informative. I've learned more from you in for videos. Then working in the medical industry for 40 years. Thank you.

Your TSH has to over-stimulate in order to get the right amount of other thyroid hormones. The TSH is the indicator of thyroid condition. If too high, your thyroid is underactive and the TSH is begging for more hormone. If the TSH is low, it reduces because you are making to much hormones. Good luck.
