Hi! First of all, I want to thank you both for sharing-this means so much to me. I grew up in Lithuania as well, so greetings, Inna! I am at the beginning of my recovery journey and recently met a wonderful homeopath (which is quite rare in Sweden). She has been helping me a lot. I’ve finally stopped eating gluten and have started incorporating more meat and fish into my diet, along with supplements she recommended. For anyone listening who is dealing with a similar issue, don’t wait to take action. I knew for a long time that gluten wasn’t good for me, but I kept eating it. Stopping gluten was a huge “wow” moment for me-I feel so much better now. I’m also finding more and more information about Hashimoto’s disease, and I’m so glad that people are finally talking about it. Thanks again! Sincerely, Agnė Ramoškaitė (Lithuanian in Sweden)

Hi. Id like to offer the feedback that I think it would be beneficial if the name of the people you interview was in the title. I also often don't find clear links. These things would make doing further research easier. Thanks so much. Appreciate you and your work.

I eat at least 5 eggs a day so I didn't think I needed to take selenium... The one that has me confused is iodine with Hashimoto's. Do you take it? Do you avoid it? Varies by patient right? How do you know if you need iodine?

I had to pay for a comprehensive test out of pocket that showed I had hashimoto. My endocrinologist still ignored the results and offered no help.

Mine diagnosed me from the beginning with Hashi + hypo, but apart from weight loss never discussed any underlying issues, lifestyle changes or supplementation to support the gland and immune system. Functional medicine is not available nearby, so I really appreciate these podcasts. We must research, advocate and do the changes on our own.

How can we get help with this in the UK? Any advice? It's really hard to get a referral to and endocrinologist on the NHS.
