Hello Paul! Here's MY review of your review. Man, even after all those years, you haven't lost it! Like good wine, your videos get better with the years and This video of Unicron was well worth the wait! You absolutely BLASTED AWAY the other reviewers with this. You have been absolutely thorough in your analysis of this humongous figure and you could have taken the easy route and show us only the Planet-to-Robot mode but you did the Robot-to-Planet conversion as well (bows in respect). Thank you so much for this great video, that's why you are my No1 guy. I have a few replies below so feel free to reply for your amusement if you have the time. Keep up the epic work! 40:40 : why? He created Galvatron, so why wouldn't he have given him some of his own features? 41:58: ooohhhhhh... I would MAKE space for that believe me! 44:03: Not weird, because his body was destroyed, so no damages to show, while his head popped off and remained to show damages ;) and Primus disliked this video 6 times

Unicron always reminds me of something out of an H P Lovecraft story. Such a beyond impressive figure. Much as I'd love to have him. Just no room and out of reach of my wallet.

9:29 So I remember watching the Hasbro guy talk about the maw and how the orange plastic was too fragile to use for the maw. Now here is what probably what really caused it to be blue. Someone at Hasbro accidentally sent off the wrong color guide to the factory and mixed up the orange maw part and it was accidentally molded in blue and by the time the error was caught it was too costly to recast all the pieces in the orange. There are two reason why I think is the most likely answer to it. 1. Like you said they could have painted it but didn't because additional paint is going to take more time and isn't going to be a cheap and Hasbro didn't want it to eat into their profits. 2. Hasbro stated that it was because the orange plastic was to fragile/brittle yet that exact same plastic is what is used for the elbow joints, which are going to see a hell of a lot more stress than the maw ever will.

I think your reviews are the best because you speak slow, clear and you go through everything about a figure and it is good if you want to know about a figure and what it can do. Btw going through the transformation helps me know how to do it and if i don't have the figure i know if transforming it will be a pain.

Awesome that the head comes off and has the battle damaged face. As he appears at movies end, right before the credits. Battle damage for his body wouldn’t make much sense seeing it blew to bits.

Very fair review. I really agreed with Paul's stance on the maw color change (disappointed, but not enough to ruin the figure), as well as the comparison with the Studio Cell offering (both are awesome in their own ways). Really appreciated the transformation in both directions. Five stars review.

Oh wow!! This is simply outstanding! This new Unicron is soooo epic! No wonder it's way better to transform this monster on its stand, I can't imagine transforming this bot without it, it would be extra difficult, kudos on the time spent to show us the transformation, Paul! I thought that the Armada and subsequent versions of Unicron were the best we were gonna get as a Unicron figure... boy was I wrong!! This Haslab version blows them all out of the water! Epic review, Paul! And congrats on this new acquisition, it will certainly be the crown jewel of your collection, or everyone's! Will there be a Primus one day? We'll see... ;)

Finally got time to watch this and you really did good, by far your review is the best in showing how the panels work. This guy is truly the Lego UCS Falcon of the Transformers world. What a model! I have to admit, having just watched your Kronos review, he is a bit floppy mid-transformation... but I don't know how that could have been avoided. Wonderful work of engineering and though I'm not a big enough Transformers fan to pursue something like this, I'm super excited for all of you who are. Looks like it was worth the wait! Hey paul I went away from your channel for a while and after I came back it was clear some stuff had changed in the past year. Omega is a rocket base, a big one and Autobots last defence yes, but Unicron attacked Cybertron the planet and smashed his hand over what i suspect is Kaon killing Shockwave among many others. If he did that to lets say Iacon Unicron would smash Omega somewhere around his thumb area, but leaving enough parts of Omega for later identification. Youre comparing a planet/moon to a giant robot taking up much space compared to other robots, but nothing bigger than maybe a dragonfly/grasshopper to you if you were Unicron.

Not comparable. The way Hasbro made this is through their own fund me campaign, name escapes me at the moment, so everyone reviewing or saying they have it actually payed for a figure they havent seen yet, and not a few bucks either, over $500. While your shattered glass stuff is in its infancy right now, it will be done soon so blame those that actually decides whats next and not mix sme side projects up witha main line, this Unicron just happens to fit in with the current line and the 86 movie soon turning big numbers.

Haslab is funded by the fans and is for those risky projects they hesitate to do for a main line because lack of funding, while main line is made for collectors that buy everything anyways and parents buying a toy for their kid. They can not and should not be bunched together as same thing. If you absolutely must have your shattered glass Optimus, youre in luck since they are making some random Shattered glass stuff. Recently 3A is making a shattered glass Soundwave so buy it and vote with your wallet, if not enough people buys shattered glass stuff, its gonna die off and that Prime will stay in your fantasies and not end up on your shelf.
