I disagree; the hasselblad is 100% an expense you can justify if you own a commercial studio shooting fashion, products or fine art. Being able to offer 100mp resolution isn’t a new idea, but now you can offer 100mp resolution without compromising eye detection, and without worrying about pulling out the tether cable for a second to shoot something at a weird angle (because of the built in storage) This is a camera that can live on a tripod, but now doesn’t have to. It’s truly a tool for professionals

At the end it depends on the experience and the skills more than the equipments or the tools, there are phone photographers that are way more better than many camera holders that know nothing about photography even how to switch on a new camera from another brand 🤦🏻‍♂️

Tell that to the random youtube influencers using the older version of this (and now this probably) in place of what most would use a small body like an X100 series camera for. The Fuji 50R is a solid option if you want large format, or basically any camera with pixel shift features these days if you're doing still life subjects where movement won't disrupt getting multiple images to stitch together. The Pana G9 and Oly cameras have solid HiRes modes that get back a lot of detail, not as much information as the 50R even, but a TON on a budget if you're just doing something like film or painting scans.

Gorgeous camera! Just wish it had face and eye detection…it doesn’t! A major oversight. Maybe Hassy will be add them later in a firmware update. But somehow I doubt it. As if they could it would already be there…right?

I own it and owned the X1D-ii before it. Have a bunch of lenses and all 3 new XCD V lenses on order. Image quality is extraordinary - and so are the size of files. It is my daily camera.

For me as a non-professional shooter and the taking picture as a Hobie I have a Sony zve 10 which is completely nice and my friends have an ac7 plus and two and three I don't know exactly at their cameras like 3000 US dollars mine is like $800 I think yet it's produces a lot of extraordinary photo and pictures I'm now into buying a new lenses the sigma I think 1.4 the aperture of it and I think 56 or 30 mm

I like it too. I won't buy one, because I'm already heavily invested in Sony FF lenses, and I already splurged on the A1. But I do take a lot of landscape pictures, and this would be a nice camera for that. The quality level seems to be excellent, and maybe hits that "Premium - like Leica - but cutting edge tech" sort of feel. I might buy an A7RV, depending on the specs. If it's just the new body, viewfinder, card slots - I can probably convince myself to avoid further camera-related damage to my bank account. But if it does come with say, a 90+MP sensor, buying one may be inevitable.
