I just saw one outside of a Walmart in Demming, NM. I was so confused on why someone wanted so much roasted chilli. Then again I am from South Texas and people from the outside don't understand why we buy brisket by the case either.

@@southmost956 when you do roast chili you roast the skin and extract the inner seeds so about 1/3 of the chili is wasted so a lot of roasted at once because it condenses in volume so much and can be easily eaten in 1-2 days then you need another batch or even cooking 5-10 pounds in total to keep up with demand is normal.

Great video. I have a question. What is the quantity of peppers and price point you sell the peppers at once cooked?

I want to buy that hatch Chile roasting machine can you tell me how much

That size likely about $3500. No real reson to raost your own chilies because wherever you buy the chiles, they will roast either for free or at most $5 per 35 pound bag. And there is a REAL art to roasting correctly. Not like cooking a steak.

First of all where are your safety glasses? If you get that capsaicin in your eyes its going to hurt. It is called chile not peppers. You need to get that right. Sorry if you think I am rude but you need to get the terminology correct.
