Ah, yes. The famous medieval movie 2 Fast 2 Furious. To be fair, the rat bucket thing may have happened in other movies. But Ross did mention a blowtorch, so a medieval settings seems unlikely.

I admit it's rare, but universities in the UK definitely still have twinned rooms. I'm at Winchester Uni at the moment and had the option of having a shared room when applying for accommodation in the first year. Still wouldn't wank in a box, though.

Dorm here in America. Small concrete room shared with another person, enough room for a twin bed,desk, and dresser for each of us and that’s it. And the restroom is essentially a public restroom because it’s for the whole floor not exactly wank material there. I’ll take one fresh HBO box next day shipping. Best part is I’ll order through amazon and it’ll come in a box same size buy one get one free

Circumcision in the US has very little/nothing to do with religion for most people. Both of my parents are non religious/atheist and they had me circumcised (way back in the early 80s). Over half of adult men are circumcised in the US (50%+), but only 2-3% of the population is Jewish.

There's designated women only carriages in Tokyo. I accidentally got on one because they're not exactly obvious either (until you get on and see the signage). No one said a thing however, i felt pretty guilty.

I never expected to ever hear anyone pick apart the design for the slug monster receptionist, Roz, from Monsters Inc., hahaha, but I loved that you guys did XD As a person who wears glasses, I think I do tend to like seeing other people in glasses, but I'm not sure I give it that much thought, haha. But people with glasses definitely don't look "colder", that's just ridiculous, everyone has their own style, that's a person to person kinda thing Also, this was a rollercoaster of topics, hahaha, I'll never get tired of Ross explaining how the segment title "funny news" is not really accurate at all, hahaha

"Russians Ban Halloween" -that's very interesting, when I was in High School a family near me was hosting a Russian foreign exchange student in the same grade as me, so we rode the bus together. Around Halloween time I took her trick-or-treating because she'd never been. So honestly, I didn't even think they DID Halloween in Russia....

Women wearing glasses reminds us of feminism, at least in this context. When in Japan one should respect their elders and the corp they work in, so acting in self empowering manner might be read as someone giving impression that they can do what the fuck they want when ever they want, because they can do it by themselves. I say the requirements how one should act is starting to go overboard. What is the limit of what one is able to say for themselves when working in a corporation, and what is the level of what is asked to be done just to show respect and manners. Tight lived countries live off of small things, those small interactions and leaks of personality into daily life. One could think you show off the respect by displaying improvement over time, by being able to achieve new levels of dedication.
@Jokervision7445 жыл бұрын
I dont know, but how it seems like, they are just about working for their lives, so having these "small" things is a huge factor. Having maid coffees might work as sweet spots to just chill, but again I don't know how they work, and what is the culture for them. Here in west... Here in far north the only way to reach dreams, is you have liquor koskenkorva, and black out in the snow.
@Jokervision7445 жыл бұрын
But overall culture has been turned into strict rule sets, which are rarely used in full. Today some are approved, and some are sent to jail. I guess thinking about people worrying about glasses is relaxing, to see that there are people who have time for that, really reminds everyone else that the society is intact, at least makes us think it is so.
@Jokervision7445 жыл бұрын
We are good at making money, but not really taking care of each other, which can be seen at people who take measures to build a place for social interaction, even if there are pubs and shopping malls. So yeah, I think its disgusting to think that we forgot everyone else. Focusing on producing what ever, and then having small portions of it sent to developing countries, and those portions which are just sprayed in like seeds. I mean people there hang by thread and all that "help" just helps them fuck for the last one time. Quality of life has lost its grip, and the requirements for society has grown high.
