Nice job. Since SS21 I've been really into Celine Homme and this AW21 collection was an absolutely amazing follow up. I completely agree about your feeling of the 2000s rock revival stuff. It looks very dated - I hated it at the time in fact! I also loved the headwear in this collection - they are knitted knights' helmets, so snart! And absolutely, Hedi is doing something totally new here and it's working. I have never, ever rated him until now, but this is Celine founding its footing. It's solidly streetwear, with a slight romantic, gothic twist. The fact that it's under very feminine name Celine, I just find quite awesome. Those roomy leathers I also loved

Great, insightful comment! It's so true. I think anyone still holding onto Hedi hate just hasn't been paying attention to the past couple seasons. It's been a huge step forward and finally Slimane is doing what's *next* in fashion, as opposed to what's been done before.
