Every time Amber speaks I make sure I listen. She is full of so much insight, inspiration and just a genuinely kind soul. So yes, when Amber speaks and when she shares I make sure I listen. This last year has been Really trying for me. December 2023 I lost my 3.5 year old son Gage. I never knew pain like tgat, I never knew a actual soul could hurt. I had no doubt this was a unsurvivable grief. I stopped doing EVERYTHING. I will NEVER forget the first time I smiled after losing him, it was watching Amber's content. For that second tge pain lessened a tiny bit. So I went back and re-watched all her content. Sprinkled into tge fun diy, shopping, travel or fashion videos was also positivity and words of encouragement I desperately hung on too. Slowly I started getting out of bed, getting dressed, talking again and then one day after watching a video of hers I decided to reach out for support While I'm still navigating emense grief I'm here. I'm here and I'm not doing it alone. I'm here, and I can say my beautiful little boys name, Gage. I'm here, and I didn't think I would be. So to some people these might be silly little videos, but to others these videos might help get them through to the next minute. Amber, your kindness your sweet words of encouragement helped more than you could ever fully know. I will never forget that I will always be grateful and appreciative toward you. Thank you

Girl…I got the lip blushing and it is so expensive and got patchy fast. Don’t feel like you’re missing anything. Literally $400 for nothing. It’s not my lip blushers fault, I have kind of crumbly lip skin and the color was doomed to not last. She also did my brows and it’s been 2 years, NO touch up and they still look crisp, but natural. No regrets there.

Hey hon, the pump to fill perfume decant bottles are way easier and faster to use and come in very cute packaging as well. I was confused too when I first bought one, but all you have to do is take the little metal spray nozzle off your big perfume bottle, hold the bottom of the decant bottle in place over the now-exposed end of the tube, and push down the same as if you were pushing down the spray nozzle. You'll see the perfume filling up the bottle, and it doesn't make any kind of mess or spill or anything, plus it's super-quick to do. I swear by my decant bottles for travel - I'll use different colours for different scents and have like 2 or 3 options on the go. A total game changer!

Tape in can really damage your own hair when you have to take them out and put new in tho, just saying, I get what you mean, but just so you know, and I studied this in school and have several professional hairstylist friends who has their own stores and such, and I had an experience when I was younger where I lost a lot of hair, I wanted tape in to make it look normal again but didn’t do it just bc I learned this, it would harm my hair more than it would help, so it might be bc of this🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t mean this in a rude way, just wanted to say a reason to why she might not want tape in🧸🌸

As a former hair extension specialist I gotta chime in on the hair segment.. Firstly, if you gotta wear hair extensions and you can afford human hair..buy human hair. Plastic hair is so bad for your natural hair and for the environment. Clip on extensions drag your hair down out of the follicle and causes hair loss, thinning, and damage to your hair because it’s constantly rubbing the metal against your scalp. If you quit wearing hair extensions your hair will grow back faster and healthier and in a year or two you won’t need extensions. ✌🏼

You should get your lips blushed. I have similar lips that they blended into my skin and I did a "your lips but better color" and its amazing. I also used the wonderlips too and just being able to look perfect with no effort or products is worth it.

If you can afford better than synthetic hair, I would suggest Bellamy clip in hair extensions if you’re OK taking them in and out! If not a sew in because it grows with your hair! And the bombshell bra from Victoria’s Secret used to have the nipple ones, but they didn’t sell very well in the early 2000s .

Hey Amber, you can actually reuse synthetic hair and restyle them. That's how most of us black girlies get the most wear out of them. My extension now last well over a month, if not months (daily wear). 1. Detangle 2. Let them soak in fabric softener (lukewarm water) 3. Wash out with shampoo or soap 4. Let them air dry This should make the hair soft and wearable again. As for styling you can do this to get back the curls or to make it look silky again. 1. Put in hair rollers. 2. Use a steamer to set in the curls 3. Let the rollers sit for a while 4. Et voila! If you want straight hair, just use the steamer in one hand and brush the hair through at the same time. Airbrush legs - Use dermablend instead. Lasts longer, better shade availability, and that stuff doesn’t come off until you take it off in the shower. The Sally’s spray you are using is substandard.
