Ironically i found a huge ass creepy centipede on my bed last night...it managed to get away and crawl under my bed... i didn't fall asleep til sun rise trying to find it and spray it...i only slept for about 2hr because i kept waking up thinking it was on my bed :(
@adamgray17533 жыл бұрын
Late last week one night, @@romeyromel, I found a big effin' black snake in my room. I did not bother to turn on my ceiling fan light (the only light source in my bedroom) because I have a bunch of plastic bags filled with cans of ravioli and other canned foods near the head of my bed. I had my box fan blowing on me that night. Fairly often with how I have my box fan angled to blow on me at night there will be some breezes hitting many of the plastic bags. This make it sound as though there is something there when there really is just some wind blowing around there. I wound up waking up to the sound of something being there, but discounted it to be just the wind from my box fan blowing on me. Mostly did this because I just woke up and I was dead tired trying to get back to sleep. It was not until I heard a somewhat loud sliding sound from those bags to my Gatorade promotional stand that I use for my rear computer speakers and a bunch of other stuff too. I practically leaped up thinking someone is trying to break into my room. I bolted to my light switch then turned it on. I saw the last foot length of a large black snake slithering between a bunch of food products I have on that side of my Gatorade stand. I briefly panicked fearing it was a venomous snake. I could not find it after a while. I had to go back to bed fearing it was going to try to snuggle up with me for warmth that night. I have actually been up to worried nightly since that effed up night that black snake will return.

GREAT review and really nice to see an actual "good" film in Mark's "weird" collection, one of the most beloved of 80's horror movies, especially if you saw it when it came out. Btw, the sexy blonde neighbor is Mary Stävin, a Swedish model who was Miss World 1977 and appeared in the last two Roger Moore James Bond movies, "Octopussy" and "A View to a Kill". Fun fact: as a huge William Katt fan from back in the day, one of my most prized possessions is an autographed photo of him and Sissy Spacek right before the climactic scene in "Carrie", where he added my name followed by: "let's go to prom!", hahaha. ;)

Maybe when the pool lady asked him to be the babysitter it is one of the few decisions in this movie which actually make sense. Maybe she realized that he was the perfect opportunity to get rid of her child when she saw him burying suspicious looking plastic bags in the backyard - that's the only logical explanation for her decision to leave her child alone with this guy. The joke would be that her plan almost worked out when the monsters pulled the boy up the chimney. Imagine how disappointed she must have felt when she got the little brat back - that's why she never showed up again: He had one mission and he failed.

FYI; the close-ups of Big Ben were actually done with a sophisticated animatronic, not make-up effects. Thanks Minty!!

I love how the guy delivering groceries at the beginning of the film actually walks into the room and only spots the hanging body after a few seconds. It's literally in front of him, but he doesn't see it at first.

That photo at 14:04 is like a bootleg version of Jim, Pam and Creed from The Office 😂

I used to watch House 2 at least once a week. If I remember correctly none are actually related.

Yeah, house 3 is also called horror story and house 4 has Roger (William Katt) again, but he has a different family. It’s weird

I saw this with a friend as a youngster in the 80s with a friend at the movie theatre and just remember it being weird. Always love the vids, Mark.

As a kid, this movie scared me more than any other horror series. As an adult, one of my favorite guilty pleasures

I pronounce aunt the same way you do. What I will not tolerate, are people who call their aunts "auntie". That drives me UP. THE. WALL.

Well then I hope you never end up in any Indian social/ family event cuz every female distant relative is "aunty" and yes someone will call you aunty too at some point 😂

Honestly Mark every episode you put put is just better and better. Ive been a fan for a long time now at least 5 or 6 years now and I gotta say since the switch to WMWM you've been on serious fire. I know it sounds cliche and sappy but things have been real tough the last 2 years for me and your videos have truly helped me out during some dark times. Keep up the awesome work, I appreciate you.

Sick was a compliment not a diss. Also, I haven't seen this movie in decades so thank you for reminding me what it was called so I can rewatch it and the sequel I never knew existed!

I love this film, as it's part of my childhood! I specially love when after that ghoul is killed by the garden-tools, we listen to Betty Everett's "You're no good"
