I was born in the hospital in 1966. And I lived 9 years in a house just 4 houses down from there on 2nd Avenue. That staircase actually DID NOT go to the main entrance. It went from the main parking lot to the overflow parking. (Which is where you actually are standing) The main parking was up on the same level as the hospital. And if you're going to tell the story, you need to find out the TRUE history! That hospital was built in 1952....NOT the 1930s! And it NEVER was called the Navarro Hospital. It was called Memorial Hospital. And NO ONE from Corsicana has ever heard about that stairway being haunted. And why would ghosts haunt steps that went from one parking lot to another???? Why not ask someone who grew up in Corsicana about what is actually haunted...like the Napoli's building, Cry Baby Bridge, the Cryer Creek cemetery. (I dare you to go there at sunset and tell me you don't walk through cold spots!), and the old Plantation Style house on 2nd Ave. If you bother to look at the last photo on this link...you can CLEARLY see those steps in the picture. txnavarr.genealogyvillage.com/business/navarro_county_memorial_hospital/index.htm If you had bothered to even find out the REAL history of those concrete steps, you'd know just how lame your claim is. (Oh! and by the way, the morgue was in the basement! And those steps were no where near it!)

hard to believe it has always been said. The old hospital. and the medical facility across the parkinglot

I was born in this hospital in 1971 and as a teenager I heard and “felt” paranormal things in and around. Especially when we would sneak into the hospital to check it out. The staircase is super spooky after dark
@wolfweakley73185 жыл бұрын
I don't know how haunted that staircase is, but if you're looking for ghosts in Corsicana visit the Opry and Event Center on 5th Avenue. There is a ghost tour that begins in the building and takes you down into the basement. Trust me, the old hospital is not the only haunted place in corsicana.

I lived in Corsicana for 16 years. Never heard of this alleged haunted staircase. Now I do recall, not too long after the old hospital closed, people claimed the old building (which stood empty for many years) was haunted.

I live in Corsicana and saw this video, so stopped by the "Haunted Staircase" yesterday to check it out. It's still there, and it didn't seem too haunted to me. Plus, there's a road across that field at the top of the staircase and there's another set of stairs going down the other side to another parking lot. Maybe I'll go out there one night and see what happens.
@beautygeexter5 жыл бұрын
There is actually cry baby bridge ... they also say Napoli's ...... the Crematory by the old hat factory & there is also another bridge out in the county... Retreat/Angus area (I think) but I can't think of the name... the old hospital was crazy scary but now that it's gone .. the staircase is spooky but doesn't hold a flame to the old building!!! Also Hopewell cemetery out in Teague...

We went into that old hospital many many times as teens to mess around and get blazed. None of us ever noticed anything. This was when we still had the old hospital there all boarded up. By the way, every tree in Corsicana is dying.

Dude. There are way more haunted places in Corsicana. Even where I live, Kerens, has the Cry Baby Bridge that is more haunted than the stair case. I was even born in the original hospital. So was my mom and her mom before her. Three generations. Lol. Anyways. Please find some better material. Please pronounce the county right. Like really, do you freaking research on the locals and the area BEFORE you make a small video like this... The dorms that I lived in at Navarro college in Corsicana are more haunted than this...

@adbarnes574 жыл бұрын
Well, not so odd at all...I seem to remember the stairs there because of the parking lot and for doctors to use when walking from the Medical Arts Clinic to the hospital. Also not known to the folks reporting a "nurse" dormitory was also just east of the old parking lot. I also seem to recall the property going thru several owners after county sold. So most of the things that "seem so odd" simply have to do with no one wanting to spend money, like having the tree removed. However, now thinking about my past in Corsicana....I've got lots of "ghost" still there..... (insert eerie music here)
