Loving the invasion of the American 4x4s. Silverado Zr2 owner here. I think the 2500 would be hard work as a daily. Interesting to see how its goes on the Aussie tracks. I've taken my Zr2 1500 on same tracks as 79 and it gets it down, sometimes just. Not because of capability but pure size. Love it Team explore life

Can you not take any enjoyment from watching an awesome rig like this? It's not in my budget either, but surely there is some interest for you. Maybe even a light build, RTT set up, suspension, or wait for it, just seeing a great rig for what it's worth. These guys have to keep the lights on, this helps that. End of the day 350k single cab Ute. Won’t go anywhere or do anything better or more than what a 35k Ute in any form can do. Says you want to do the big builds etc but I reckon you’ll gain more appreciation doing your trips in a “regular Aussies” 4x4 and doing your trips in that and see how you really go then. Don’t get me wrong I’ll still watch all these youtubers/influences for the locations they go to but it’s all a race to outdo and 1 up the other channels and stay relevant. How did we survive camping in swag with an esky and tarp back in the day? Or maybe it was all we needed before the cameras came out? Call me a hater but just my 2 cents worth.
