Our is brand new installed maybe 2 weeks ago and you can't even fill the kitchen sink up without a code 12 and not a lot of hot water. It is NG and has a flex line for gas.

P Lively try taking the aerator off and see if that helps.

Hi Roger, Thank you for all your video's . We constantly struggle with the error code 10 0n allot of these units as well as a the older naviens. I have done everything from cleaning the burners, blower moters, replacing moter's and boards, snaking the vents, etc. We love to give options, but these options of cleaning vs replacements are creating tension because if we attempt to clean and maintain the system and it doesn't work, and now the customer is on the hook for the repairs. Now we are at the replacement option. We often will give a 50 percent discount of the repair to put towards the replacement. But I am sure your viewers would really benefit from a video of how you would deal with this. Its something we deal as techs, owners, etc. I love seeing how everyone deals with this as it is always a struggle. Love your video's, and you have may all ready covered this . Ive fixed a bunch of these errors by using vinnegar down the exhaust to de scale the sediment trap.. what happens is the trap gets filled with some debris and the unit trips out the pressure switch.. might be your issue.. worth mentioning.

i just rented out a place in mex for cheap and i literally had to install the kitchen and bath sinks plus fix the toilet and i managed to do it thanks to your videos, the guy swears that the water heater works but it doesnt, hopefully this vid will help me out as well, while ive been doing the repairs ive been including my kid so he learns alongside with me lol thank you very much for sharing your knowledge and wish me luck!!

My Rinnai electric hot water tank keeps flipping the breaker when taking a shower or doing laundry. What could be causing this is very annoying to have to have someone at the breaker flipping it back on when you’re taking a shower and freezing your butt off.. any ideas why it keeps tripping? I seen the video on cleaning the filter but we’ve never done that. Could that be the problem?

Hi Great video. I did try it and for some reason (I verified 10 times :) plus I am pretty technical in it ) all connection is right and pump is pumping water in but it is not coming out from hot side Anything to check? Waited several minutes Nothing

Do you have any idea about the error code 441 for the Takagi TK-540p-nih? I have cleaned out filters, checked the recommended sensors. Could it be a venting issue?

My Rinnai tankless is giving a 12 fault code and we are unable to get mild water out of any of the fixtures. It’s either all or nothing. I’ll be checking your other videos in the meantime.

Mine - the external pressure regulator for the gas line was stuck. Just tapped it with the handle of a screwdriver and the unit then fired up. Ugh. Mounted outside, everything is brand new, was working fine for a week or so. Not sure what would’ve caused this or if it’ll happen again.

our on demand / tank-less water heater system is messed up. This one has a recalculation pump. It seem we only get hot water when another hot water tap is open than it seems to heat water fine than after a minute the water flow completely shuts off. If I turn the hot water valve off for a minute or so it will turn on with good flow for about a minute than completely shuts off the water flow. Anyone every had this issue, and how did you fix it ? I bought an on-demand propane water heater online and it flashes like it will ignite and then nothing. The manufacturer said I need to adjust the ignition needle but would not even send me a photo showing where to look or how to adjust it. Can you give me some guidance on this task? Send a photo or diagram with the part in question circled and how to adjust it please. These cold showers in a room that is poorly heated in December are not fun. Thank you.

I’m having a problem with mine. There is no error code but no hot water. If I go to the unit (it’s mounted on the outside of the house) and open a water line (that looks like just an extra line for outside use)the unit comes on and we have hot water for about 24 hours then I have to go open the line again. Do you know what would cause this?

Buddy Gallo that's strange. What brand is it and have you contacted the manufacturer? Sometimes if the aerators or shower heads get too clogged up there won't be enough water flow to fire the system.

You just took the manifold plate off the front of the burner. The face plate comes off the burner and all of the innards will slide out, allowing you to clean it much more thoroughly with an air compressor. If Rinnai saw this video, they would tell you did not clean the burner

I keep loosing hot water, and hoped this video might help, but my Rennai set up is much larger and more sophisticated than that little box. The plumber just left, gave me some bs answer that will probably last six months if I keep hitting the reset button. Thanks, I’ll check out your other videos

So there wasn't any where else in or around the house that that water heater could have been installed except the attic? Being Texas it does explain a lot though. People in those red states aren't the brightest bulbs in the room. 🤣
