Thank, finally a review where i can hear the bow. Sound is more important to me than speed. Awful lot of animals killed with recurve and long bows shooting 190 fps

Awesome channel! Question for you... I am still shooting my Mathews HeliM and I still love it. With that said, I need a second bow and feel it is time to upgrade yet keep the HeliM as a backup bow. What is your bow of choice? I have been eyeing the Hoyt carbon series and also the Mathews VXR OR V3... Thanks and keep up the great work!

You won’t go wrong with either one! Haha they both shoot great!

I've been shooting the Triax 70lbs limbs back down to 65lbs. If there is any way to see the switch weight technology up the speed at smaller pound draw that would be great. For instance comparing the 27 V3 vs the 28 vxr with switch weight comparing with the Triax limbs backed down.

@Patriot Ref i’ve seen a long axle to axle change bows that has other whys has same specs before but prime does have a stiffer draw cycle than other bows i’m wanting to shoot a elite encore aswell with other bows then make my mind up though

@Patriot Ref i’m going to wait till after january where the new hoyts will be out where can shoot everything i’m interested in with 1 stop where it will make it easier to decide and 1 of them jumps out at me

@Patriot Ref if o do end up with a hoyt with no performance advantage i’ll get a aluminum riser over a carbon and the aluminum bows seem quiter but i’m trying to go into open minded even though i’ve shot mathews since the feathermax in the 90’s and i haven’t shot anything else since then right now they so many good bows i’m wanting to aleastt see what i think

Good Review! I thought the same thing. It is basically the same bow.

Its an upgraded VXR and there is nothing wrong with that. I shoot A Hoyt Rx4 and it’s an upgraded RX3. People kind of crap on these bow companies these last 2 years for not coming out with anything revolutionary but the bow companies are doing something great and very smart. When you have a product that’s a really successful platform like the VXR or the Rx4 the smart thing to do is build on an all ready established and successful platform. The worst thing you can do is try to change things. If its awesome just try and make it more awesome. Bow companies putting out similar bows the next year is not a result in lack of innovation, it’s a testament to how good these bows are now and that they are so good that’s it’s hard to make massive improvements.

@@toddlymburner5783 not saying anything bad about the bow just would like to see them kind of incorporate what Elite and Bowtech are doing with their techs on being able to adjust cam lean without a press
@toddlymburner57834 жыл бұрын
@@crickratcrossbowhuntingand9321 oh I know you were saying nothing negative I was just saying my 2 cents. I also own a Bowtech RevoltX and you still need a press for it. You can tune your bow quicker for sure with that bow however it’s not on the same level performance wise as a VXR or RX3. If I buy i Hoyt rx4 and you buy a RevoltX you walk out of the store with a tuned bow 15 minutes earlier than me but than that’s where the advantage of that bow ends. That tech is more for the dealers than the customer. It saves them time.

@@toddlymburner5783 I do all my tuning and have a small shop thats why I like those techs

Also when it comes to walk back tuning bare shaft tuning and broadhead tuning those technologies are far above other brands in my opinion

His mic quality is nearly the same as a podcast in my opinion.
@HaxenHunt4 жыл бұрын
Haha thank you! I’m actually looking at buying a mic that mounts on the camera and is more of a shotgun mic than the one that clips on my shirt. Think that’s a good move?
@KenRen-hw8uv4 жыл бұрын
I don’t know honestly. The way you do it now is kind of what people seek for in mic quality at least on podcasts. It’s kind of unique to your channel and I never have to worry about misunderstanding you. However, sometimes I think it would be great to hear some background noise every now and then. Thanks for caring!
