really a great video it helped me a lot with my Hayabusa gen1 (French model) this procedure works fine with the front wheel :-) but with the rear one there absolutely no enought angle to be give to the spacer for having any chance to push the oposite bearing I had no choice but to weld a piece of metal onto a bearing and was able to remove it easily just one point I was not sure was the grease between the bearing and the seal to have a better protection I put a big layer of grease thanks for the sharing and the great job you did ;-)

Great vid guys and good timing for me, just sent my rear wheel for a powder coat refurb and will need new bearings when I get it back tomorrow, my bike exactly the same bike as yours, a k3 Stealth Limited Edition. Never changed a wheel bearing before, think I'll be able to tackle this job now thanks to you, 🏍👍

Nice instructions! Bearings you had there originally were installed the seal towards the outside, no seal towards inside, wrong way.

OEM Suzuki bearings come installed with the covered part facing OUT. Just replaced front and rear bearings on a TL1000R last night. New bearings (AllBalls brand) were sealed on both sides.

If you noticed the top of the range "koso" bearings we installed also had seals on both sides, yes, you are correct previous bearings were installed incorrectly but by the previous owner ! Thanks for your comments buddy ride safe 👍

Do you remember approximately how many miles w were on the bike when the bearings were changed and how is the busa riding now that the bearings have been broken in
@KeepItWheel2 жыл бұрын
Bike was showing around 28,000 miles with no indication of them being changed on setvuce record ! Bike is ultra smooth now 👍🏻busa's are prone for front wheel bearings with a lovely rumble effect 👍🏻👌🏻
