Everything you've done looks ok to me mate. How I did my 2010 busa wheel bearings. How I've pretty much done all my bike wheel bearings over the years. You could have used a bearing puller but hammer\drift combo is fine. 👍

With a hammer and drift, that’s the only way..who cares if it gets damaged, it’s going in the bin. I used to repair washing machines and we used to remove the outer drum bearing the same way. Only way to avoid it is with a bearing puller like Del 😆..the internet is full of these people. Remember that Harry Enfield character…’you don’t wanna do that, you wanna do it like this, that’s what you wanna do’ - yeah, loads of them watch KZbin! 😂 -ps, I did like the look of your drift set there..is it a bought kit or something you’ve put together yourself?..if it’s a bought kit, could you let me know what it is please? 🙏🏼…enjoyed the vid mate..oh and ps, it’s Mark..I’ve changed my channel name (yet a-bloody-gain), back to my original channel name I started with years ago ha ha..and I promise to stick with it this time…mainly as I got a logo made and bought some stickers, so I’ll not be changing it again 😂…atb mate 👍

The guy certainly didn’t want to explain his statement 🤷♂️ I bought the drift set years ago from ebay, I think the longest drift is about 18”. I can’t remember the seller’s details but they’re only a cheap three piece set, just for doing the wheel bearings 🤷♂️. I know it’s you, getting all posh and professional with yer logo and stickers 🙇

OEM bearings are open ended why Suzuki ??, mine failed 6,000 miles, New sealed bearing are 80% cheaper and have lasted 18,000 so far.
@bikerantics50012 ай бұрын
Sounds like you had a dodgy set or the outer seals failed prematurely, oem should last longer than that🤔. On the plus side the new sealed bearings are holding up well, what make are they?

@@bikerantics5001 Koyo by Pyramid-parts, as i ride all year round ( no car license, being 53years old bike is my only transport) My Busa has covered 30,000 miles still going strong, biggest advice Pirelli ST Angels for all year riding is a must. 👍

If you hadn’t said Koyo I’d have recommended them, quality Japanese make👌. I’m 58 and on one of my bikes pretty much every day, mainly commuting but sometimes the wife lets me out to play😇🤣. I’m a Michelin 4/5 kinda guy. I’m a real chicken when there’s moisture about so the wet grip isn’t as important as the grip under hard acceleration in the dry👌. Although that’s getting less important as I worry more about the pain of coming off than the size of my chicken strips 👴🤣. More importantly I just enjoy being on my bike🤷♂️.
