Suzuki stroked everyone with promises of a 1440 cc engine and turbo options. All they did was add some bells and whistles for ridability and power management. Im glad I bought a Gen II . I'm an older guy that is used to controlling my own throttle and traction. So all that xtra electronics is of no value to me.

@@jamesaquino9341 funny thing is suzuki didn't promise or himt at anything.. the internet and bloggers assumed that. Suzuki kept real real quiet and everybody started guessing and spread that rumor for years. That led to worldwide dissapointment and not even suzukis fault.

@@jamesaquino9341 The thing even with electronics you can turn them all off. Not throttle by wire, but it's better so why would you? Even with electronics you;d be surprised by how little they effect everyday riding. They don't by the way unless you would have binned it anyway.

I think it's interesting that it appears that they have strengthened a lot of internal components, including transmission gears etc. Why? 'Busa's haven't been known to be fragile. I don't think they would have gone through that expense for nothing. I think there is more to come...maybe forced induction, maybe increased displacement, who knows.
