Oricorio really succeeds in doubles too if you give it a shot. The funniest thing you can do is have a partner Kommo-o hit the Clangorous Soul to get an omniboost and Oricorio will get the omniboost right after (and even more if you set up Quiver Dance). I'd recommend some kinda healing berry on it and Tera Ice for coverage against the Ground-heavy SV Metagame. Also if you're curious, other moves that can trigger this are Clangorous Soul (as mentioned), Aqua Step, Firey Dance, and Dragon Dance (That HAS happened to me before and was hilarious, I outsped a Dragapult) Edit: New information: I just found out with a test that apparently, Oricorio's Dancer allows it to bypass Assault Vest. Edit 2: what have I done-

I used to do this but also use baton pass on the Oricorio, then bring a full +1 sinistea to also heal the Dragon.

Pedal Dance is another super underrated Dancer move! Since Dancer is calling the move like Metronome/Sleep Talk, the move's lock in and confusion effects will not activate no matter how many times Oricorio uses it. Additionally as it is a "rage" move it can ignore the effects of redirection moves such as Follow Me, thirdly a perfect teammate for this strat is Lilligant. As it gets access to both Pedal Dance and Quiver Dance, as well the ability Own Tempo so it can also spam Pedal Dances without fear of confusion. With this high power move hitting twice as well Oricorio's Rev-Dance or Air Slash, you only really need 1 Quiver Dance so instead you can run Tailwind on Oricorio to outspeed damn near every unsetup opponent. For one more upside you can throw Safety Goggle on Oricorio to hard counter Amoongus/Spore Users and Tera Ghost on Lilligant next to Sensu Oricorio to null Fake Outs attempting to stop your set up (similar throw a Focus Sash or White Herb on Lilligant for more safety), I've managed many a UU/OU sweeps with this duo leaving other half of my team to have clean up options like Ambipom and tanks like Blastoise/Araquanid.

7:26 - Fun Fact: This also applies to all Timed Status Effects, so Oricorio can technically wake up from 1 sleep turn as well makes it more likely to defrost in one turn. There's quite a lot of little interactions with Dancer like this that not a ton of people know about, another one is that Pedal Dance will not lock in or confuse an Oricorio using it (pairs well with Own Tempo Lilligant) but as well the Pedal Dance's "Uncontrollable Mode" is still in play meaning it can ignore redirection moves like Follow Me! One more for the road, not many people know that Kommo-o's Clangorous Soul counts as a Dancing Move... Not a super common interaction to run into but it can throw off someone's strategy big time, if only Oricorio learned Stored Power.

I will forever love how Revalation Dance is the original Tera Blast, and that it gives Oricorio a STAB without tera. One of the best moves of all time. I also can imagine four oricorios in a double battle and them all using Dancing moves whenever one of them moves(thankfully Dancer can't copy a move from another Dancer)

I like using Oricorio (Pom Pom) in a 2 VS 2 battle, with Kommo-o as it's partner to set up Clangorous Soul (Dancer copies that move), and then I baton pass into a Mew; with Stored Power and other wide hitting moves (Surf, etc.)

I've been running oricorio for ~3 years in gen 7 doubles- it doesn't need quiver dance or tera to be a monster! Lilligant is by far the best partner for oricorio- it gets quiver dance, petal dance, role play and entrainment. Oricorio should be slower than Lilligant so you can quiver/role play and attack with oricorio on the same turn, or baton pass out after a quiver/petal dance.

Just caught a shiny alolan Raichu from the outbreaks, been messing around with endure, nuzzle, reversal, upper hand, tera fighting, holding weakness policy. If you can get him on electric terrain he’ll outspeed most, nuzzle can be switched for knock off or something else of value. It’s not super easy but he can sweep if conditions right

I'm pretty sure the HP investment actually did not save the oricorio, it lived with 35 but at level 50 full HP EVs only give 32 extra points. But who knows this was literally the first time I ever tried to calculate stats like this.
