Truth. Can't stand the moaning about fitness and pressure from fans. Turn off social media, lay off the beer and listen to one of the 30 coaches you have about rest/recovery. When you're earning millions of quid a year, your problems aren't actually real. Try working a 50 hour week and having your boiler blow up, and then make the decision between paying your rent and your children being cold. Then you'll know what being tired and under pressure feels like.

F.A set no European target for GS. Basically he is free to mess up with no consequences. GS isn't the problem it's the people who employ him. F.A should have parted ways with GS after WC. Spain,Germany and France all made it count when they had the best talent available for selection. His decision making is boderline criminal. Why does he over complicate things? Gordon,Palmer are all capable. Most of these players had their best career season performances. They were all on form until they met up with GS.

Palmer picks passes, he gives progressive passes and he is the only player with a different profile in the team. Look at the number of chances he will create and England will get when the opportunity is given to him.

Unless Palmer is gonna carry the ball from the back line to the final third all alone, he won't matter anymore than Phoden, Bellingham, Kane, Saka, Bowen, Eze or Watkins did. It's not progressive passes in the final third they're missing. It's nearly all the passes that lead up to those that this team can't pull off. They can't play out from the back much less form any kind of attack. Watch the match again. Quality attackers aren't gonna solve this problem.

It's not true that with the players we have we cant hold the backline further up the pitch. That is true when McGuire's playing but with Walker, Stones and Guehi pace isnt really a problem, so we could afford to play differently than we have been. That said, Mcguire's strength is bringing the ball out of defence but he is ideally suited to counter attacking football which I think is true of Southgate, he prefers to be the underdog and struggles with being a frontfoot attacking team but that's what most of his players play with their clubs. I think not having been a successful league manager is showing it's debit side now. He had and old boy network, Mcguire, Trippier, Henderson, phillips, kane and mount and only Kane is now available. It is difficult to transition with changes of staff. In football you have to do it quite quickly or you go under

Analysis..... Southgate is poor.....solution.... he needs to go. Obviously, this won't happen until after the tournament. So he needs to big, brave and bold and not boring and predictable. He finally picks a squad that 99% of us would've picked with one or two changes and he doesn't use it properly. Big changes needed for the final group game both in terrms of personnel and shape and hopefully we find some form and tale that into the next round.
