exceptional video review - You did justice to the brand . just FYI the chrome layer is more than 100nm in thickness that gives the exceptional fitting and scratch free operation which also adds to the cost and needless to say differentially hardened to sustain 1000Nm torque without any stress fractures. ENJOY - other brands with CrV the layer is 15-20nm only for cost effectiveness!!!

Impressive information about layering thickness. Huge difference of chrome thickness between hazet and other brands. If it is true then I have no regret to buy hazet ratchets :D btw how did you know about the chrome thickness information, do you work in hazet company? Thanks for sharing the info though.

@@carrepairandtoolsvideos to Add: I was talking about nano meter thickness of sockets not the Ratchet. But I am sure it also would be at similar levels considering the Hazet company ethos, eventhough the ratchet handle doesn't require that level of protection

@@shivajid1953 ok, I thought you were talking about chrome plating on the surface. Yes, hazet sockets have thicker walls. Hazet uses high quality steel obviously. Thick walls does not mean always the strongest. It also depends how the forging and the type of material/alloy being used. Many cheap tool companies products are heavier and have more material but they are weaker and get broken easily. I owned some snap-on sockets with thinner walls but I would say they are robust. Thinner walls also means they will fit in tighter areas easily depending on the application. Stahwille sockets are also thinner when comparing with hazet and stahlwille sockets are also insanely tough.

Indeed Gedore, Stahlwille etc are other premium brands from Germany. Actually I have been to Hazet Factory Remscheid last year. Great city of tool manufacturer

@@carrepairandtoolsvideos no I got my 953HP set for 171eur with free shipping. You just have to search and wait for a good deal on such expensive tools. Also just got on a Black Friday deal the Hazet 3/8 hiper socket set for 151eur, because you know, you also have to have the 3/8

5:25 I have this set. In this setup, the bit screwdriver bit adaptor and bit has absolutely zero play, haven't found this is any brand. Love Hazet.

Agree with you that adapters has no play and same goes with the socket and ratchets. Really good quality tool kit.

But there are similar kit from hazet, which include those joint sockets with some other extras and those kits are either exlusively 1/2" assortment or 3/8" or 1/4" and those have same price as this kit or more which is way more expensive than this kit and this kit includes both 1/2" and 1/4" assortments. But yeah, adding joint socket would be nice to have them in this kit.

I plan to get my individual Hazet SAE (American sizes) sockets from there because sadly Hazet no longer make a set with SAE sizes, unless you get the 1/2" sets # 905az or the 900az, but they are so much more expensive than their metric counterparts, that you can just buy the metric set and add all the SAE sockets separately and end up with a dual set at same price.
