HBCU Presidents Forum: Celebrating 150 Years of Bowie State University

In celebration of the 150th anniversary of Bowie State University, the forum brought together veteran leaders to address today’s challenges and opportunities facing historically black colleges and universities. The distinguished panelists responded to questions from moderator David Pluviose, executive editor for Diverse in Higher Education, as well as the members of the public who submitted questions using #BSU150thForum on Twitter. The conversation generated a set of actionable ideas and initiatives to enhance the success of HBCUs.
