As a member of the "Alphabet Mafia", I completely agree with LeQuan's point. Instead of well-written LGBT+ characters that are actual examples and representations of the community, Hollywood thinks "Gay characters are in right now, make that white, cisgendered guy bisexual but don't put any effort into making him likeable/memorable, and mention that he's bi but only have him date women" just because they want to say "Hey look, we're diverse, watch our show!" It happened with female characters, it's still happening with people of colour and now it's happening with queer characters too. Yes, there are bisexual people who predominantly date people of the opposite sex, but to have that one subsection of people (who, let's face it, are more palatable to a wider audience) be your only example of queer diversity is not representation and so personally I love the fact that SNL called that out 😂

I saw this and i heard the 'am bisexual' jike. I am with Lequan, it's exploitation. So much of it is put in things were it says or means nothing to the character, meaning they still act or 'show' as a straight character. When something is a part of your life you see and react to things differently. Am sure most LGBT+ folks find it ok somewhat. But am sure as a black guy and am fairly sure lequan may feel the same as me, you can see exploitation vs REAL representation.

I think the 2 episodes in what is typically 8 episodes season killed the enjoyment of the series for me, 2 episodes lost to side stories (regardless of their content) that added nothing to the main story in a short arc! yes i want more zombie fungus scenes!

The director of the project wasn't even a fan of the franchise so he doesn't know what makes the franchise so good.
