Making a Batman villain I’ve never heard of before into one of my favorites. Cristin Milioti deserves an award for her performance as Sofia Gigante.

In a few years, Sofia "Gigante" Falcone went from unknown (at least for people who hadn't read/watched *The Long Halloween* and it's sequel, *Dark Victory* ) to a fan favorite thanks to the performances from Crystal Reed in the show *Gotham* , Laila Berzins in *The Long Halloween* , which culminated with Cristin Milioti in *The Penguin* ... 3 great adaptations, and she had a very interesting dymanic with Penguin both in "Gotham" and "The Penguin", starting out as weird allies, and ending up as sworn enemies. And of course, both Robin Lord Taylor & Colin Farrell are fantastic as Oswald, and are perfect foils for "the Hangman"... All Hail Sofia, I sure hope that the letter from Catwoman will pay off in Matt Reeves' upcoming Batman movies.

​@@gs-fx5zq She killed a homeless teenager just to intimidate Oz. She gassed her entire family to death, many of whom didn't sign on to Carmine's plot to frame her and send her to Arkham. She destroyed a city block leaving several civilians injured and dead. Many forget that Sofia, while not as evil as Oz, is essentially a horrible person, a victim turned victimizer, and by default, a villain.

She didn't even utter a word during the house burning segment and every single movement is a seduction. So much expression of movement and facial expressions, you can read her damn thoughts. This is filmmaking not just at it's finest but even beyond. I've never in all my life seen anything like this. It sounds and feels so much like simping, but there is not a single scene of hers in this series that she wasted. Never a dull moment. No filler.
