Peak writing give them all a raise, this show is so good. The fact that I can understand every characters perspective in some twisted way and empathize with so many of them shows how good the writing is. All the actors give it their all and you can feel that.

Yeah, I’ve been saying the same for weeks. Everyone has been expecting Vic dying since episode 1. If they do kill him, I predict most people will react with “I knew it” or “there it is”, which I don’t think vibes with how the rest of the show has been going. Lauren Lefranc has even said they’re trying to subvert mob tropes, so it’s entirely within the realm of possibility we see him running errands for Oz in The Batman Part 2. Or he dies, who knows lol

We've been kept guessing week to week for almost two months now, almost every theory being proven wrong within the first five minutes of the next episode. Killing Vic just feels predictable, and it doesn't vibe with the rest of the show. Though I suppose it also depends on how they do it. That sewer scene with the brothers was rough...

I think Vic dying would work well as a way to turn us from rooting for Oz in this series to seeing him as an outright villain in The Batman 2 - we’ve spent the whole series thinking Oz has some soft spot and empathy for Vic, it’d be a real gut punch for it to turn out to be just another work on Oz’s part and for him to be directly responsible for Vic’s death or even actively bring it about. It’d cement Oz as a manipulative and cowardly psychopath only interested in his own advancement.

That's how I felt as someone who had a severe stutter as a kid, speech therapy really helped because as an 11 year old, I could barely speak and it still comes out occasionally under stress. The authenticity was spot on. Everything else you said was spot on too.

It's so easy to call out Victor as the "token black minority" or "inclusive handicapped person". But the way they wrote it into the show was so natural and believable. It's not forced and preachy like so many other shows are trying to do. This is why this production deserves so much praise.

I loved the restaurant scene. I don't stutter but I have a habit of basically cycling through sentences as I speak (like one time I forgot the term for farmfield so I spent a minute going "akker? Nee, akte? Nee dat is een wet" And so on) and feeling that reassurance of "No no finish, take up space" endeared oz to me a *lot*. So I can only guess at how important it was for our little eagle

Incredible series i was not expecting to be so good this proves a single TV show form DC tops everything marvel has done in the last 12 years As an animator/ Film maker You 100% nailed this show one of the best TV shows I have ever honestly seen I'd slap this right next to breaking bad Loved how they set up the Arc for BATMAN 2 Selina kyle breaks Hangman out of prison and same time releases the Joker & Victor szazz that letter was from the Court of owles and they set up an Arc for a Bella rael Same with the subway when the Riddler supporters are still carrying the message on the subway And im pretty sure Vic is still alive and he eventually becomes Bane as he will require the back suit and the breathing apparatus after that incident

not sure if the guy has an actual stutter or if hes a genius - (not vic the white dude) - but if hes just showing us the examples and doesnt - his stutter techniques are so believable - if he does have one and theyre genuine - even better - nobody better to learn from - love how vic had to go out into public as homework and use his stutters to understand and feel the feeling of stuttering and being different - not the same level as heath ledger but still the same tewchniqwue of real;ly deep diving into your character inorder to become said character - fantastic show, i hate marvel and thought dc was just a worse version, this shows insanely good, gritty and dark, yet beutiful in terms of the chareacter development - truly a 9.5/10 that NOBODY was expecting
