Awesome man, I’m glad I helped. You’re not going to miss a lot. The screen isn’t much bigger really. Hopefully it won’t be long until the next gen comes along and hopefully will be worth the upgrade 👍

I was wondering whether you have the same video but with the DVR because it doesnt really show the difference if it is just gopro footage. Great video though
@realtimefpv78753 жыл бұрын
Hey man, thanks. You are right that the GoPro footage doesn’t really help, it was just something semi interesting to look at while a talked. I didn’t include any dvr because both goggles have the same dvr modules, so the footage would’ve been identical, if that makes sense? For example the dvr wouldn’t pick up the difference in colour vibrancy or picture clarity as that difference comes from the screen quality not the image capture quality. In hindsight a GoPro capturing an image through both goggle eyepieces would’ve been a better way to show the difference between the two, but it was the first video of this type I’ve made, so is far from perfect 😄 I hope it’s still helpful though 👍

I might get the HDO instead of the Hdo2 because of price I can find an HDO on eBay for a lot cheaper and since I’m just getting into the hobby it might be worth it. But other than that great video

Can you share the settings you had in the HDO, so it matched the HDO2? Great video!
@realtimefpv78753 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot man. Sorry for the late reply. I didn’t think to make note of those settings, so unfortunately not. Great idea though, I should’ve included them

So in short I have my fat sharks but if I was going to pick 1 upgrade pair would it be worth the hdo2 or just hdo? Is the kidney donation worth it for the hdo2
@realtimefpv78753 жыл бұрын
In all honesty I don’t think it’s worth the extra for the HDO2. The screen isn’t that much bigger, the on/off switch is annoying and they’ve both got the same dvr. I’ve moved to DJI fpv since this video, and I’m really happy with it. If it’s at all possible to save a little longer and go that route that would be my advice. I understand that lots of people would disagree though.

Will they work with my existing vtx ? Or is that another expense buying a module

U say , u choose HDO2 but they are not worth upgrading from HDO.. im confused
@realtimefpv78754 жыл бұрын
Hey man. If I had both goggles in front of me for free I’d definitely pick the HDO2, but if I owned the HDO and it would cost me £450 to get the HDO2 I’d happily settle for the HDO. Hope this helps.
