There was a good book about this case that I read. It described how he and his brother never much left their little yard of their home when growing up and instead of socializing with friends, they played ball with mommy in their yard, well into their sheltered teen years. Reminds me of Chris Watts’ mother- an annihilating narcissist who destroyed her child’s identity and made him people pleasing and expressionless. Those types cannot withstand having the masks of perfection pulled off because when they allowed themselves to show imperfections as children, they were likely subjected to frightening, narcissistic rage. Rachel was clearly always too good for that creep. It's tragic how highly warped and dangerous men like Entwistle, Chris Watts, Scott Peterson, Patrick Frazee and the rest, are able to persuade women they adore them, and win their love and trust. I believe kids should be taught at school about 'The Cycle of Narcissistic Abuse'. These kinds of domestic murders follow a depressingly predictable pattern. If there was greater education, potential victims might be better equipped to recognise the red flags in an abuser's behaviour, and escape the relationship before they (and their children) are killed. Almost all of his pictures of him in court looked like he was laughing and smiling. Who could kill that beautiful baby? Wife too. What a horrible unfeeling monster. I do understand not being able to cry. It took me almost 6 months to cry for more than a minute or two. I was numb though from lots of bad traumatic things happening to me and taking care of my father while he died from lung cancer. I'm not justifying or defending anything about him. He's sickening.

I remember when my sisters were both about 6 and 7, they stole some candy from K-Mart. My mom found out (she had a nose on her like a bloodhound) and turned the car around and we went back to the store. Marched us all back inside and made my sisters apologize to the cashier and the store manager, then paid for the candy. (We were poor - candy was NEVER purchased so this really screwed us.) My poor mom was so upset, wondering what she'd done wrong that two of her kids would steal candy. She could barely speak, and looked simultaneously like she was going to strangle them both and burst into tears. To think that not one, but both of Neil's parents cannot see ANY of what he's done (escorts, no job, yet spending money like there is no tomorrow, scamming people, lying to his family, and murdering his own child and wife) is astonishing.
