Melissa Lewis worked at the powerful law firm Rothstein, Rosenfedlt, and Adler in Fort Lauderdale. When she disappeared, it was all hands on deck. However, her disappearance would be the first crack in the slab, exposing a giant Ponzi scheme inside Rothstein, Rosenfedlt, and Adler.

*One thing I wish That Chapter mentioned was that Scott Rothstein never returned from Morocco on good conscience. He returned because he feared the safety of his family for stealing money from big people. He received death threats in addition to his parents. So, he knew he had to return for justice or his parents could experience a violent death. The man is spineless. He has absolutely no integrity or dignity. He was making millions at his law firm but that wasn’t enough. He needed to ball like a billionaire. Absolute greed and recklessness.*

Me also I was expecting him to say 25,000 at least. But he may just have said a thousand out loud when actually it was a lot more it was just his way of letting her know not to share the information of how much it really was so as not to piss other people off that didn’t get as much. You don’t have to kill. You can get a Bachelors , study for the LSAT, do volunteer work, write essays, get recommendations, register with organizations in your state that regulate law schools and legal careers, pay a bunch of fees and stuff, be accepted to law school, pass rigorous exams and classes every year among highly logical and intelligent people (some while also working) , do more pro Bono work required to graduate, pay to study for the BAR, pass the BAR in your state and any other states you intend to practice in, be accepted by an ethics committee, and then get an entry level legal job in a highly competitive field where you start out as a junior attorney and have to heavily pay your dues in time and effort, all while paying back hoards of debt if your family ain’t got it like that. You know, it just fell into our laps. You might be right about killing being the easier route.

the reason why this is the best crime channel is bc he actually uses alot of visuals (pictures, news clips etc) unlike the more popular channels like Bailey Sarian & Kendall Rae
